August 21st is National Senior Citizens Day, a special day to recognize and celebrate the older adults who have made a lasting difference in our families, our communities, and our world.

🐾 August is National Dog Month! 🐾

At Dignity Memorial, we love dogs! ❤️🐶 We know just how much our four-legged friends mean to us—they are companions, comforters, and truly cherished members of our families.

We are especially proud to work closely with the Fort Wayne Animal Care & Control and support the important work being done in our community to help animals find loving homes. Every dog deserves a safe place to call home, a loving family, and a second chance. 🏡🐾

National Dog Month is a great reminder that there are so many ways we can help shelter dogs—adopt, foster, volunteer, donate, or simply share a post about a dog looking for a forever family.

And if you already have a pup at home, August is the perfect excuse to give them an extra treat, an extra-long walk, and plenty of belly rubs! 🐕❤️

Today is a beautiful reminder of just how important family is. Our sons and daughters are part of our story — from childhood memories and family traditions to the milestones, laughter, challenges, and moments we share throughout our lives.
