A Big Thank You! 🐾
A huge thank you to everyone who came out and joined us for Pup Yoga! We had such a great time relaxing, practicing mindfulness, and enjoying lots of puppy cuddles.
We truly appreciate everyone who participated and helped make the event so much fun. We hope you left feeling relaxed, refreshed, and with a smile on your face!
A special thank you to OPH for providing the pups, Federated Charities for providing the beautiful garden space, and Cindy Burdette for organizing the event and bringing it all together. Your support helped make Pup Yoga such a fun and memorable experience for everyone!

Black dog syndrome, also known as BDS, is a phenomenon in pet adoption in which black dogs are ignored in favor of light-colored ones.
Some adopters may avoid black dogs due to fear-based stigmas associated with certain breeds, such as pit bulls. Media portrayals often depict large black dogs as aggressive, further influencing potential adopters.
Ways to help combat BDS include adopting black dogs, supporting shelters financially or through volunteering, and raising awareness about the issue.
