Who doesn’t love a GIVEAWAY!? 🎉✨

I am so incredibly grateful for this community and the ways we show up for each other, so I wanted to do something fun to say a massive thank you as I grow my business and launch my course publicly in the next few weeks. I’m giving away my new course to one of you and the addition of a swag bag of my favorite things!

Whether you’ve been here for a minute or since the very beginning, thank you for being part of this space.

How to enter:
1️⃣ Like this post.
2️⃣ Follow this account (if you aren’t already!).
3️⃣ Tag 3 friends in the comments who deserves a little extra appreciation today (each tag = a separate entry!).
4️⃣ Share this post to your stories and tag me so I can see it!

As a small business owner venturing into new things, your likes, follows and story reposts mean so much to me. They say you value me and my work and it’s valid to show up in this space! Thank you! 🙏

Giveaway closes on June 30th at 8AM EST. The winner will be chosen at random and announced on my stories/contacted via DM from THIS account only. Open to US residents only. This giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with Instagram/Facebook. *

Type C Mom Summer: The “What I’m Doing vs. What I’m Not” Edition ☀️👇

If you need me over the next few months, I will be fiercely protecting my peace, lowering the bar to a comfortable subterranean level, and leaning entirely into Type C Mom energy.
“Type C” means we love our kids fiercely, but we are completely opting out of the curated, over-scheduled, performance-art version of summer. If you’re also trying to survive the heat with a toddler, a grader, and an almost pr***en without losing your mind, welcome to the club!

🛑 What I am NOT doing:

👎 Curating “Magical Moments”: No elaborate sensory bins. No Pinterest-coded DIY crafts that take two hours to prep and cause a breakdown in four minutes. Nature is their sensory bin. Go outside.
👎 Over-scheduling: We are not running a 24/7 summer camp itinerary. Boredom is good for the development of the brain (and vital for the preservation of my sanity).
👎 Cooking formal dinners: If it requires turning on the oven or using more than one pan, it’s a hard no.
👎 Feeling guilty: About screen time, about messy hair, or about counting down the hours until bedtime.

✅ What I AM doing:

✌️ Bare-minimum meal prepping: Snack plates, popsicles, and whatever we can grill. If it can be eaten on a paper plate outside, it’s a win.
✌️ Prioritizing my own oxygen mask: Lifting heavy weights, keeping my own routines, and remembering that I am a human being, not just a summer cruise director.
✌️ Leaning into the chaos: Accepting that the dirty feet and wet clothes is just a permanent state of being until September.

Being deeply present for the simple things: Sitting on the back porch, watching them play in the water, and actually enjoying their company because I haven’t exhausted myself trying to make everything “perfect.”

To every mom out there choosing sanity over perfection this summer: I see you. Let’s collective-sigh our way through to fall. 🏖️ ✨

Drop a 🙋‍♀️ if you’re joining the Type C movement this year. What’s on your “NOT doing” list?

Mom might mean well, but let’s talk about the "drive-thru" myth of mental health. ☕️
Therapy isn't an oil change. It's not a quick patch-up where you walk in broken and walk out "fixed" in 100 minutes flat.
Real therapy is more like unspooling a massive ball of yarn that’s been tangled for 20 (or 30, or 40) years. The first few sessions? We're usually just finding the end of the string.
If you’re a few sessions in and feel like you’re still "in it," you aren't doing it wrong. You're just doing the work. Healing takes time, and you can tell mom I said so. 😉

I love a good romance novel that reminds us what it means to be unique, messy and human. ❤️

Lucy Score always delivers on that front.

Also if you’re a book nerd 🤓 follow my friend Lindsay because she keeps us in the know of the good stuff 👏

Moms 👏 We 👏Can 👏 Do 👏 Better

What are our hobbies?

No, not your kids things. Their sports, activities, or literally just your kids.

What do you miss?

What used to bring you joy that you want to start again?

What conversation needs to happen so you get some YOU time?

We lose ourselves in motherhood and this is where I see so many women floundering to figure out why they are sad, easily angered, or just depleted.

Your bucket matters.
