We are so excited for tonight's First Friday event showcasing the incredible photography of Terry A. Thiele

Terry is a local artist, originally from Central Virginia before moving to the Valley. She earned her BFA in Studio Art from JMU. She has traveled and lived in and around NYC and DC before coming back to the Shenandoah Valley.

We'll be open from 5-7, tonight, to celebrate and appreciate the photography of Terry. Her work will be in the office for the month of June.

Artist Spotlight! Rainbow Willard's art will be up at the Community Counseling Center for the rest of the month if you want to stop by and see it in person.

Rainbow Willard is an artist based in the foothills of Virginia’s Blue Ridge Mountains whose work explores memory, nostalgia, and the quiet symbolism of everyday objects. Drawing inspiration from nature, childhood artifacts, and small moments that often go unnoticed, her work reflects a fascination with the emotional stories objects can carry.

Working across multiple mediums including colored pencil, acrylic, oil, and print-based illustration, Willard moves fluidly between fine art and small-scale works such as prints, decks, and illustrated objects. Her practice blends careful observation with imagination, transforming familiar subjects into playful, reflective images that invite viewers to reconnect with curiosity, memory, and wonder.
