Straub Benioff has opened its newly renovated Emergency Department, designed with more space, more privacy, and greater efficiency to meet the needs of our patients, families, and care teams.

The expanded ED includes additional treatment areas, specialized care spaces, and improved workflows to support high-quality patient care.

🚧 Traffic advisory: Straub Benioff Medical Center area

Utility work currently underway on a portion of Kealamakai Street may impact traffic near Straub Benioff Medical Center.

Work is expected to continue for about six weeks, Monday through Saturday, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

What to expect:
• Diamond Head-side lane of Kealamakai Street closed
• Contraflow traffic on the ʻEwa-side lane
• Traffic controllers on-site
• Diamond Head-side sidewalk closed; use ʻEwa-side sidewalk

🕒 Please allow additional travel time when coming to and leaving Straub Benioff Medical Center during these work hours.

May is all about celebrating our incredible Straub Benioff team during Nurses Week and Hospital Week. 💙

We shared our appreciation the Straub Benioff way: coming together, enjoying great food, and saying a heartfelt mahalo to the people who care for our community every day.
