This is what a week can do.

Our girls' wellness camp wrapped, and we are so proud of every single participant.

Over the course of the week, worked with the girls to understand how stress and anxiety show up in their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. They practiced real tools. Had real conversations. And built something they'll carry with them long after camp ended.

Each girl left with her own personal wellness toolkit: coping strategies, journaling practices, breathing exercises, boundary-setting skills, and the confidence to express her needs.

They also left with each other.

A small group. A supportive space. Peers who just get it.
This is what happens when girls are given the right environment to grow.

Thank you to every girl who showed up and did the work. 💛

Burnout doesn't always look dramatic.
Signs you might be burning out (but not limited to):

Waking up in the middle of the night and struggling to fall back asleep
Hard to concentrate on most things
Withdrawing from things that normally brought you joy

You don't have to wait until you're completely depleted to rest. A reset is not a failure. It's how you come back to yourself.
If this resonates, you are not alone. 💛

Last week, Dr. Elizabeth Miller had the privilege of hosting a PANS Awareness TX family support group at Well Mind Body.

One of the most powerful parts of the day was seeing families connect with others who truly understand what they're navigating. When you're facing a complex diagnosis, finding a community that gets it can make all the difference.

As a member of the Texas PANSAC Advisory Council, Dr. Miller is passionate about supporting awareness, education, and resources for families affected by PANS/PANDAS. We're grateful to provide a space where those conversations and connections can happen.

If you're looking for support or resources related to PANS/PANDAS, we'd love to connect.

We are so excited to share that Zoe was recently featured in Voyage Houston!

This local spotlight is such a meaningful recognition of the work Zoe is doing with tweens, teens, and families here in Houston. As an LPC-Associate at Well Mind Body, Zoe brings a unique blend of clinical training, school counseling experience, and classroom insight to her work with young people.

Her background in education gives her a deep understanding of the pressures today’s tweens and teens are navigating, and her work in therapy helps clients build tools for emotional regulation, confidence, and self-understanding.

We are so proud to have Zoe on the Well Mind Body team and love seeing her story recognized in the Houston community.

I'm so excited to share that I had the honor of joining KPRC2 Daniella Guzman at KPRC2 / Click2Houston to talk about a new nationwide survey highlighting nearly half of Americans say their lives are lacking fun.

I see this in my therapy office every week. High achieving people whose lives look full and together on the outside. And on the inside, they are depleted, disconnected, and quietly reeling.
Fun is not a luxury. Joy, connection, and rest are things our nervous systems are literally designed to need.

If this resonates, I hope it is a gentle reminder that fun doesn't need to be a big production or time commitment. Start with one small thing this week that brings you joy and see what it opens up.

Full segment linked in my bio. Thank you to the incredible team at KPRC2 / Click2Houston for having me. 🤍

If your tween or teen girl has been feeling more anxious lately, or struggling with confidence, she’s not alone and she doesn’t have to figure it out on her own.

Our Confident Girls Group is a 3-day summer experience designed to help girls ages 11–14 better understand their emotions, build confidence, and learn practical tools for managing stress and anxiety in everyday life. Led by Zoe Sheehan, LPC-Associate (), this small group offers a supportive space for connection, growth, and skill-building.

Spots are intentionally limited to keep the group personal and supportive. If this feels like something your child could benefit from, we’d love to have her join us.
