One of the biggest misconceptions after surgery is that more pressure equals better results. In the early stages of recovery, the buttocks should not be the center of your massage. The goal is to support healing while protecting your surgical results.

Always follow your surgeon’s post-operative protocol.

Compression that bunches, wrinkles, slides, or fits unevenly may not provide the intended support or containment.

A proper compression fit should feel supportive, smooth, and individualized to your needs. Some patients may benefit from custom garments depending on limb shape and swelling patterns.
