We were so grateful to have Clear Creek Community Church spend the weekend serving LifeTree! Their team cleaned offices, repaired and repainted our lobby, organized our closets, refreshed our kitchen, and hosted a drive for office supplies and snacks.

Their hard work has made our space feel refreshed and ready to welcome the people we serve. Thank you for showing LifeTree and our community such care! We’ll share more later this week about what the day meant to our counselors. 🌿💙

We're doing a little ghosting this Halloween… but not the kind you're thinking of. 👻🎃

Some habits and mindsets have overstayed their welcome, and we're officially giving them the boo-t!

This spooky season, we're making a little more room for self-compassion, healthy boundaries, and growth. Because not everything that's been haunting us deserves to stick around. 💙

Your turn! What's one thing you're ghosting this season? 👻

One in three. That’s how many of LifeTree’s clients are under 18.
As LifeTree enters a season of growth, keeping care accessible for young people remains central to our mission. We’re grateful for Board President Greg Poore and the leadership helping guide what comes next.
Greg is the first in our Mission & Impact Monday board spotlights. More introductions are coming soon. 🌿💙

Shame has a way of convincing us that the parts of ourselves we struggle with are the parts we need to keep hidden.
But hiding often keeps us stuck in the very patterns we're trying to change.
Growth doesn't require pretending we haven't made mistakes or avoiding responsibility. It begins when we create space to acknowledge what's happened, understand ourselves with compassion, and take a step toward something different. 🌿
You don't have to have it all figured out to begin moving forward. And you don't have to do it alone. 💙

Getting help shouldn’t feel like something that’s only possible if you can afford it. 💙

At LifeTree, we believe financial circumstances shouldn’t determine whether someone has the opportunity to seek support. That’s why accessibility isn’t just something we offer—it’s part of why we exist.

Behind every reduced-fee session is a community of people who believe in that mission. From the counselors providing care to the donors and partners helping make it possible, each plays a part in keeping hope within reach.

Because when a community comes together, more people have the opportunity to receive the care they deserve. 🌿

Some conversations are hard to start—especially when shame, fear, or uncertainty are involved.
Looking Deeper is an educational workshop designed to approach po*******hy and unwanted sexual behaviors with curiosity rather than shame—exploring not only how to stop a behavior, but what may be happening beneath it.
Whether you're navigating these struggles personally, trying to better understand someone you love, or simply want to learn more, you're welcome.
No pressure to share your story. This is an educational workshop, not group therapy, and personal disclosure is not required.

Faith and mental health care don’t have to be either/or.
We’re honored to be featured in today’s faith section of The Galveston County Daily News for a conversation that’s at the heart of what we do at LifeTree: When might clergy turn to faith-based counselors?
Pastors are often among the first people we turn to when life gets hard. And sometimes, the best care happens when churches and trained mental health professionals work together.
We’re grateful to partner with churches in our community to help people receive both spiritual support and clinically competent care.

You don't have to be the one struggling to want to understand the struggle.
Looking Deeper is an educational workshop for adults who feel stuck in unwanted sexual behaviors, spouses and loved ones who want to better understand, and helpers who want to approach these conversations with greater compassion and wisdom.
We'll look beyond the behavior itself to explore what can contribute to these patterns, why shame rarely creates lasting change, and what meaningful change can look like.
You don't need to have the right words—or even know exactly what you're looking for. Come curious. We'll look deeper together. 🌿
