Are you suffering from lingering pain, urgency, or bleeding months after your radiation treatment? You aren’t alone, and you don’t have to "just live with it."

We are continuing our HBOT Indications Series with Spotlight 03: Radiation Proctitis. Radiation damage to the re**al lining can cause chronic inflammation and tissue hypoxia (oxygen starvation), but Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy can help.

💡 How HBOT accelerates healing:

Delivers 100% pure medical-grade oxygen under pressure.

Stimulates angiogenesis (the formation of healthy new blood vessels).

Reduces inflammation and repairs oxygen-starved tissue from the inside out.

Radiation Proctitis meets CMS-approved criteria for late radiation tissue injury when prescribed >90 days after your last radiation treatment.

If you or a loved one are experiencing these symptoms, our team is here to help. Contact us today to schedule a comprehensive evaluation!

Healing after prostate cancer treatment shouldn't mean living with chronic pain, radiation cystitis, or proctitis. 💙

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) works at the cellular level to rebuild blood vessels damaged by radiation—and it’s covered by Medicare and most major insurance plans.

September: Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD) Awareness. ❤️

PAD restricts blood flow to the legs and feet, which can severely delay wound healing. For selected nonhealing, diabetes-related lower-extremity wounds, HBOT may be used alongside standard vascular care and wound management to promote recovery.

⚠️ Always report nonhealing foot wounds, worsening pain, or skin color changes to a healthcare provider promptly!

Are you a pelvic cancer survivor dealing with painful bowel movements, persistent urgency, or re**al bleeding months or years after radiation treatment? You might be suffering from radiation proctitis.

In this episode of FAQ Friday, we break down how Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) provides a non-invasive solution for post-radiation bowel complications:
✅ Re-oxygenates severely starved re**al tissues
✅ Stimulates new blood vessel growth to repair damaged mucosa
✅ Eases chronic inflammation and stops persistent bleeding

💙 Important Note: HBOT for radiation proctitis is covered by Medicare and most major insurance plans!

If you're dealing with ongoing complications after cancer treatment, you don't have to suffer in silence. We collaborate with your gastroenterologist to support your full recovery.

These two are the absolute sweetest people! We’re so glad he’s healed and walking out of our office on two feet and no longer in a wheelchair.
Getting appropriate wound care and HBOT is about saving limbs, but it’s also about quality of life for our patients. Nothing brings us more joy than knowing they can get back to that!

Gynecologic Cancer Awareness. 🩵

Following pelvic radiation therapy, some individuals develop delayed tissue injuries affecting the bladder, re**um, or vaginal tissue. HBOT can help restore oxygen levels in radiation-damaged tissues to encourage natural healing and relief.

If post-radiation symptoms are impacting your quality of life, reach out to your oncology or hyperbaric care team.
