Richard is an AWESOME nurse and is loved by residents and staff here at LHCC. He goes above and beyond for his residents all the time, and he is always an advocate for his residents. He is always making sure he has snacks on his cart for those residents who will not eat, or he will bring them something to brighten their day. He shows real compassion with the residents he cares for; you can really see that he cares. He is good in a crisis and keeps everyone calm; his CNAs love working with him. Richard always picks up when he can and is very flexible on where he works in the building, which is a scheduler's dream. He is truly an asset to this facility, and we hope to have him for years to come!!

Sweet surprises were in store to celebrate National Skilled Nursing Care Week. Residents and staff were treated to Ice Cream Sundaes on Monday and Kona Ice today.
