🔺A State of Emergency🔺has been declared for Mobile County ahead of Tropical Storm Isaias. Stay informed. Stay prepared. Stay SAFE! 📲 For local emergency alerts, text MOBILEALERT to 226787.

Effective 4 p.m. Oct. 7, Gov. Kay Ivey has declared a state of emergency for Mobile County and other Alabama counties ahead of Tropical Storm Isaias, with severe weather expected to impact our area beginning Friday. The declaration allows state resources to be activated as needed to support preparedness and response. It also prohibits price gouging.

Now is the time to prepare. Complete household preparations, have multiple ways to receive weather alerts, and know where you’ll go if you live in a storm surge area or manufactured home and need safer shelter.

Mobile County EMA continues to monitor the storm and coordinate with local, state and federal partners.
