Spaces between your child’s baby teeth? That can actually be a good sign. 🦷

Think of it like a parking lot: tiny cars are parked there now, but bigger SUVs are coming. Those gaps are extra parking spaces for the permanent teeth.

What to look for instead:
• Baby teeth that touch, with little or no spacing
• Overlapping teeth
• Permanent teeth coming in crooked or behind the baby teeth

These can be signs that your child’s jaw may not have enough room for their developing teeth. An evaluation with Dr. Lisa Jolly, our board-certified craniofacial orthodontist, can assess jaw growth, dental development, breathing and bite.
