If your scalp has never been professionally assessed, you're guessing.
Everyone wants a treatment. Few people ask the most important question..."What's causing my hair loss?"

Ozone steam helps hydrate the scalp, soften buildup, and prepare it for professional care, but no treatment should come before a comprehensive scalp assessment.

Because the best results don't come from buying another product.
They come from understanding why your hair is changing.

✨ Stop guessing. Start assessing.

Send this to someone who's trying everything but still losing hair.

Most hair loss is progressive, which means waiting to see if it improves usually means watching it continue. Early shedding and gradual and progressive thinning is your scalp asking for help, not patience. A root-cause assessment tells you whether it's genetic, hormonal, nutritional, or stress-driven while you still have the widest range of options for treatment. You don't need to have the answers before you ask for them — you just need to stop waiting. Get a professional assessment of your hair loss and get busy addressing your hair loss the right way.

Red light therapy isn't a one-and-done therapy, it's a self-care routine that builds and maintains wellness results over time. It works by waking up follicles that are still alive but underperforming, and that only happens when you show up for it consistently over a few months. Skip days and you lose the momentum. Want to know if your follicles are still in the game? That starts with an assessment.

Most of what we think we “know” about hair loss comes from myths, misinformation, and half-truths — not from science. Hair science supports that losing 50 to 100 hairs a day is completely normal; hats don’t cause permanent balding; and washing your hair isn’t making it fall out. ALSO, addressing the root cause such as: genetics, stress, hormones, medications, nutrition, sudden weight loss, and malfunctioning systems, is key to successful treatment and recovery. Score yourself as you scroll, and let’s figure out what your hair is really trying to tell you. Get an assessment from a specialist. Don’t guess.

When you don't wash your hair enough, the microbes on your scalp throw a party... and your scalp isn't invited.

That's when your scalp starts saying, "Enough." Itching. Flaking. Irritation. And inflammation.

Healthy scalps need the right balance. Washing frequently with the right products is key.

Your follicles live in your scalp. Make it a place they actually want to call home.

Here's the distinction everyone should know before seeking help for hair loss.
Dermatologists evaluate medical red flags like sudden onset, pain, inflammation, sores, bleeding, patchy hair loss, or rapidly progressive changes.
Trichologists specialize in evaluating chronic shedding, diffuse thinning, breakage, scalp health, and the many non-emergency factors that influence hair growth.
Here's what most people don't realize: getting the right assessment matters. Trichologists work hand-in-hand with physicians. If your hair loss requires medical care, we'll refer you. Our goal is to make sure you get the right diagnosis, treatment, and protocols.

Episode 1: Telogen Effluvium
Episode 2: Androgenetic Alopecia
Episode 3: Trichotillomania
Episode 4: Scarring Alopecia

There are many types of hair loss and the treatments differ depending on what type(s) you are diagnosed with. Most people think “alopecia” is a diagnosis, but it is just a fancy word that means “hair loss.” What must be determined is the type of hair loss you are experiencing. That is the key to appropriate and effective treatment. Assess. Don’t guess.

A message to women with hairloss: there really is light at the end of the tunnel. Susan believes hair replacement was the right choice for her. But looking back, she wishes she'd had a trichological assessment years sooner, because knowing the real cause might have opened other doors, like slowing the loss or even regrowing hair. If you're feeling frustrated or losing hope, let her story be a reminder: the right answers exist, real solutions exist, and hope is always within reach.

🌟Labs matter! However, hair loss isn’t diagnosed by blood work alone. Labs don’t make the diagnosis, they help explain it by uncovering important contributors and mimickers. There are many labs that can be run, but this is a good baseline start.

Diagnosis comes from a thorough clinical evaluation: history, scalp exam, trichoscopy, labs, and sometimes biopsy.

•Ferritin — iron storage; often the first to drop and a common cause of diffuse shedding even when standard iron reads normal

•Vitamin D — tied to disrupted hair cycling; follicles need it to progress through the growth phase. Also plays important part in hair follicle immune privilege.

•CBC — flags anemia, infection, or other issues that can surface in hair early

•TSH — thyroid helps regulate the hair growth cycle. When it's underactive—or overactive—hair shedding and thinning often occurs.

•B12 — affects the rapidly dividing cells that build each strand; especially relevant for plant-based diets or absorption issues. Can also affect ferritin levels.

Blood work doesn’t tell the whole story, but is an important part of it.
