🌙 A New Season. A New Website. The Same Heart.

Today feels a little vulnerable and a little exciting.

My new website is officially live:

This relaunch isn't just about a website. It's about honoring the journey that brought me here.

Back in 2011, while I was in nursing school and newly trained as a Reiki practitioner, I couldn't afford to hire a website designer or graphic artist. If I wanted a website, I had to learn how to build one myself.

So I did.

Through countless late nights, trial and error, YouTube tutorials, and more mistakes than I can count, I slowly learned website design, branding, graphics, marketing, and the many hats that entrepreneurs often wear.

Since then, life has taken me on quite a journey.

For a long time, I was working per diem, saying yes to everything, and often feeling like I was throwing spaghetti at the wall to see what would stick.

Today feels different.

I'm returning to business with more intention.

More boundaries.

More clarity.

More focus on creating a life that supports my family instead of competing with it.

As a wife, mother of two, former nurse, and lifelong student of healing, I've learned that success doesn't have to come at the expense of your well-being.

So I'm starting where I am.

Part-time.

One step at a time.

Building something sustainable and meaningful as my childcare schedule becomes more reliable and my availability expands.

This Saturday Sacred Mountain Institute and I will be at the Roanoke Valley Holistic Expo from 10am - 5pm. Here are things to know:

⚡️11am Presentation in Parlor B "Traditional Meets Technology: Tools for Energetic Diagnostics and Healing"

Description: Join Valarie and Jen for an introduction to two innovative wellness tools that bridge holistic insight with modern technology. Valarie will begin by sharing the Vital Scanner and how it is used as a non-invasive wellness scan to explore energetic patterns and possible imbalances in the body. Jen will then introduce the NeoRhythm device, highlighting how frequency-based support may be used for relaxation, focus, meditation, sleep, and nervous system balance. Together, this presentation offers a practical look at how modern wellness technology can support greater awareness, regulation, and personal well-being.

Sacred Mountain Institute was born from a lived journey—one of listening deeply, unlearning inherited patterns, and remembering what it means to live in rhythm with the body, the land, and the wisdom within.

Jen's path has woven through healthcare, motherhood, spiritual initiation, and years of working with energy, intuition, and nervous system regulation. What she's learned—through both science and lived experience—is that true healing doesn’t happen in isolation. It happens in safe, grounded community.

The Women’s Circles held through Sacred Mountain Institute are not about fixing or forcing transformation. They are about slowing down, reconnecting with the self, and remembering how to be human together—honestly, compassionately, and without hierarchy.

Jen holds these circles as a steward and space holder, supported by an incredible team of facilitators who each bring their own wisdom and integrity to the circle. Her role is to ensure the container is ethical, inclusive, grounded, and rooted in both discernment and care.

You’ll often find Jen outdoors—near water, trees, or mountains—where clarity comes easily and the nervous system remembers how to settle. Nature is not just inspiration for this work; it’s part of the medicine.

It’s an honor to walk alongside the women who gather here and to co-create spaces that feel safe enough to soften and strong enough to grow.
