A huge shout out and congratulations to Kaisha Williams, Regional Clinical Mental Health Manager, for her 5 year service award!

When it comes to approachability, reliance, accountability, professionalism, knowledge, and overall, care for her team and clients alike, Kaisha demonstrates leadership in all capacities.

Kaisha leads by example, and is committed to ensuring clients are served with quality and in a timely fashion. She manages to successfully encourage a team approach within what some consider an individualized service - to the point where feedback has been received from staff how much they look forward to team meetings. Not only does she take pride in the work she does, but she takes pride in the relationships she builds.

Also, Kaisha has no problem bringing a smile to the table and a good sense of humor. She won't hesitate to reframe a challenging situation into an empowering light.

We are celebrating Rob Campbell who officially joined the Mainstream family 3 years ago!!

Rob has been and continues to be a true asset to Mainstream and always putting his best foot forward to ensure the whole team has support including the clients we serve. He is a wealth of knowledge and wisdom with ample experience in leadership, currently serving as our CFO and HR Director.

Rob will be the first to help from the ground if needed, demonstrating servant leadership. We enjoy his down-to-earth nature, practical approaches, inspirational headliners, and the fact that he is always wearing a smile.

Happy Monday!

We are proud to give another shout out to a member of the Mainstream family, Derrick Ruben, Mental Health Skill Builder, as he celebrates 3 years of service this month.

Derrick meets clients where they are, working hard to maintain a person-centered, empowering approach where he focuses on his client's strengths to help build them up and encourage their success. Derrick is not shy when it comes to sharing his knowledge out and about in the community, assisting his clients identify new resources and helping them connect to meet their needs. He absolutely goes above and beyond each day to help others, whether it be with Mainstream or in his personal life.

We are very happy to have you, Derrick, and thank you for all that you do!

Congratulations to one of our beloved Mental Health Skill Builders out of the Roanoke area, Cathy Baker, for her 3 year anniversary with us!!!

Cathy demonstrates a wonderful attitude and has no problem making others laugh even during challenging times, going above and beyond whenever she can to ensure her clients have what they need.

Thank you for all of your hard work and dedication to not only Mainstream, but to each one of your clients. We are happy to have you on board, and it is evident the care and commitment you have in helping those around you as they work to become their best self.

We recognize June as National PTSD Awareness Month and strive to provide trauma-informed care to all of our clients.

Trauma is in the form of wounds we cannot see, but we can feel. It shows up when we least expect it in response to that smell, that sound, that picture, that feeling, and more.

Please be mindful as we all have stories untold, some of which have left us battling ourselves in the midst of a daily routine.

Kindness, compassion and efforts to understand can go a long way when it comes to those facing trauma-related challenges.
