San Dimas Community Hospital’s “Squish It for the Cure” team brought staff, families, friends, and community supporters together for a cause close to so many hearts: the fight against breast cancer.

From bake sales and raffle baskets to fundraising and recruiting walkers, this campaign was a true labor of love—culminating in yesterday’s Susan G. Komen walk in Ontario, CA! 🎀👟

Thank you to our dedicated campaign organizers and everyone who donated, volunteered, cheered us on, or walked alongside us. Your generosity and teamwork made every step more meaningful.

We walked to honor survivors, remember loved ones, and stand beside everyone facing breast cancer. Together, we carry hope forward. 💕

Congratulations to San Dimas Community Hospital CEO Parrish Scarboro on being named to Becker's Hospital Review's 2026 list of "240 Community Hospital CEOs to Know" — his third consecutive year on this national list! 🎉🏥

Becker's recognized his leadership in quality, patient safety, and expanding access to care — helping earn high ratings from The Leapfrog Group and three "100 Top Hospitals" designations from IBM Watson Health.

"This recognition belongs to the entire San Dimas Community Hospital team," said Scarboro. "Our physicians, nurses and staff bring an unwavering commitment to quality, safety and compassionate care to every patient, every day. I am proud of what we have accomplished together and excited about the investments and expanded services that will allow us to meet our community's evolving healthcare needs."

Under his leadership, we've invested in facility upgrades, advanced surgical technology including the Mako robotic-arm assisted surgery system, and the Epic electronic medical record system — with a new subacute unit opening later this year to expand skilled, longer-term care close to home.

Bone health is something many people do not think about until a fracture occurs.

An estimated 10 million Americans live with osteoporosis, a condition that weakens bones and increases the risk of injury. Regular exercise, a balanced diet rich in calcium and vitamin D, and routine screenings can help protect bone health.

Our care teams encourage adults, especially older adults, to talk with their provider about bone density testing and ways to reduce fall risk.
