Today we honor Juneteenth, which commemorates June 19, 1865, the day enslaved people in Texas learned they were free, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation. It is a day to celebrate freedom, reflect on our history, and recommit to the work of equity and justice.

Happy Pride Month from Alliance Health Project 🌈

Pride is a celebration—but it is also a reflection.

This month, we honor the generations of LGBTQ+ folx who built community in the face of adversity, cared for one another when systems fell short, and created spaces where authenticity, dignity, and belonging could thrive.

At AHP, we see every day that healing happens in connection. It happens when people show up for one another, when stories are shared, and when communities come together with compassion and courage.

This Pride Month, we celebrate the resilience, joy, and diversity of the LGBTQ+ community. We recognize the challenges that remain, and we recommit ourselves to fostering health, equity, and support for all.

Together, we find "Strength in Care. Pride in Community."

Today we celebrate Harvey Milk Day by honoring the life, courage, and enduring legacy of Harvey Milk , a trailblazer whose voice helped change history. As one of the first openly gay elected officials in the U.S., Harvey Milk showed the power of visibility, community, and hope in the face of injustice. His message still reminds us to stand proudly, speak boldly, and keep pushing for a more inclusive future. 💪🏽❤️🕊️🏳️‍🌈
