This Labor Day, we're recognizing the people who bring Touchmark to life every day. Caregivers, nurses, dining professionals, housekeepers, building services teams, life enrichment coordinators, health and fitness professionals, resident services, business office teams, retirement counselors, and so many others—every role helps create the welcoming, vibrant communities our residents call home.

While many people are enjoying the holiday weekend, many of our team members will be spending it doing what they do every day: caring for residents, creating moments of connection, and enriching lives.

We had a great morning at the South Dakota Parkinson Foundation's Step Big Walk!

It was a beautiful day to get outside, get moving, and enjoy some time together while supporting a great cause!

A big thank-you to the South Dakota Parkinson Foundation for putting together such a wonderful event. We’re grateful for the opportunity to come out, have some fun, and support our community!

We celebrated Welcome to the Fabulous All Saints with an incredible Vegas-inspired evening! We kicked things off by welcoming Aaron Shoemaker back to Touchmark with a Frank Sinatra-style ambiance, followed by some outstanding crab legs and plenty of fun as our team helped with the cracking!

Casino-style games followed, with Blackjack being the clear favorite. A special thank-you to Carter for helping deal!

We ended the evening with an awesome Vegas-inspired performance from South Dakota Aerial & Arts. It truly was the perfect night filled with great music, delicious food, laughter, and entertainment! ✨

Doing what you love can make a real difference.

This year, Touchmark residents, team members, families, and local supporters came together through concerts, car shows, festivals, fitness challenges, charity dinners, walks, and so much more—all to support the Alzheimer's Association.

Together, our communities raised an incredible $139,120 to help advance Alzheimer's care, support, and research. Every event reflected the creativity, generosity, and compassion that make each Touchmark community unique.

Thank you to everyone who participated, volunteered, donated, and cheered us on. Your support is helping bring hope to families affected by Alzheimer's disease.

Happy National Friendship Day!

Today, we're celebrating the friendships that make life richer—whether they're brand new, decades old, or unexpectedly rekindled.

Residents Dan Kelly and Terry Anderson were childhood best friends before life took them in different directions. They hadn't seen each other since they were 19 years old.

Then, 70 years later, they stepped into the same elevator at Touchmark—completely unaware they lived just one floor apart.

Today, they're sharing memories, making new ones, and even planning a trip to Portugal together with fellow Touchmark residents next year.

Their story is extraordinary—but the friendships formed at Touchmark happen every day. Whether it's reconnecting with a lifelong friend, meeting a neighbor who quickly becomes family, or discovering someone who inspires you, meaningful connections are the spice of life here.

What a beautiful evening on our front lawn with the Sioux Falls Municipal Band!

Residents, families, and friends enjoyed wonderful live music while soaking up a perfect summer evening. To make the night even sweeter, the SDSU Ice Cream Truck was on-site serving up delicious treats!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for another memorable summer event. We loved seeing so many smiling faces and can't wait for the next one!
