Serenity Hospice

Serenity Hospice A service-driven hospice care provider relentlessly focused on patient care and customer service. We have locations in Portland, Salem and Eugene.

Our goal is to redefine hope, and increase life quality. Serenity Hospice:

As part of our admission process, we ask each of our patients and their family, “What is the most important thing hospice can do for you?” Our caring professionals are focused on using your answers, your wishes, to create a unique framework for supporting you and managing your overall care. For some patients their wish is

to be at home surrounded by their friends and family. Others don’t want to throw away another day struggling to get to doctors’ appointments, waiting in an ER waiting room, or undergoing more diagnostic tests. Some need help controlling pain so they can see their grandson play another baseball game, or need help coordinating a visit with a long lost relative. The list is long and is as varied as each of the individuals receiving our care. At Serenity Hospice we are committed to customer service and exceeding the expectations of our patients and their families. We redefine hope moving from finding a cure for your illness, to helping you spend your last months doing what you want to do. As you can see, we do a pretty good job of living up to our promise:

Additionally,

Our professional caregivers receive extensive training in managing end-of-life symptom management and care needs. Our staff are trained to provide care to meet the unique needs of Veterans. We offer complementary treatment modalities including massage therapy, music & art activities and pet therapy. We take pride in our tradition of caring and look forward to offering our outstanding care to anyone requiring hospice care. Call Serenity Hospice today and let us help you realize your wishes!

This Fourth of July marks a historic milestone as our nation celebrates 250 years of independence.

It is an opportunity to reflect on the generations of people whose courage, sacrifice, and determination have shaped our country and carried its founding ideals forward. As we gather with family, friends, and neighbors, we celebrate the history we share and look ahead to the future we continue to build together.

Wishing you and your loved ones a safe and happy Independence Day.

During National CNA Week, we recognize the Certified Nursing Assistants who bring skill, compassion, and steady support into the daily lives of patients and clients.

CNAs play an important role in home-based care by helping individuals with personal care, mobility, vital signs, routines, and important observations that support safety, dignity, health, and independence.

Their work is hands-on, deeply personal, and essential to helping people feel more comfortable and cared for at home.

When someone you love begins to need more care, it can be difficult to know how to step in. Families often want to help right away, but they also want to protect their loved one’s dignity, routines, preferences, and sense of control.

Whether a loved one needs help with daily activities, skilled support after a health change, or comfort-focused care during a serious illness, the right support can help them feel safe, heard, and respected in the place they call home.

Our latest blog explores how families can support a loved one’s changing care needs while continuing to honor their choices, comfort, and voice in the decisions that matter most.

This Nurses Week, we proudly recognize the incredible nurses across the Addus Family of Companies who bring skill, compassion, and reassurance into the homes of those they serve every day.

Our nurses do more than provide clinical care. They build trust, offer comfort during uncertain moments, and help patients and families navigate the path ahead with confidence and dignity, all within the familiarity and comfort of the home.

Thank you to all of our nurses for the meaningful difference you make in the lives of so many.
