🇺🇸 What a wonderful Labor Day weekend! 🇺🇸

We were truly blessed with beautiful weather for our end-of-summer BBQ! Our residents, families, and staff enjoyed a day filled with delicious food, laughter, live music from Mark, and lots of fun!

A HUGE thank you to our amazing staff who helped plan, prepare, cook, serve, and make the day so special. We appreciate all of your hard work and dedication! ❤️

And of course… what’s a BBQ without a little whipped cream fun?! Our residents had a blast smashing our staff’s faces into whipped cream—including a few members of our administrative team! Needless to say, there were plenty of laughs!

We cherish these special moments and the memories we make together.

Did someone say summer treat?

Our residents recently had a special visit from the ice cream truck, thanks to Visiting Angels of Traverse City, who generously scheduled the truck to come right to our facility for our residents to enjoy! ❤️

There’s just something about hearing an ice cream truck pull up that brings back those summertime memories! Our residents had the opportunity to pick out their favorite frozen treats, spend time together, and enjoy a fun afternoon right from the comfort of their home.

We are so thankful for community partners like Visiting Angels who take the time to create special experiences for our senior community. It’s these thoughtful gestures and community connections that help us continue making meaningful memories with our residents.

A huge THANK YOU to Visiting Angels of Traverse City for thinking of us and treating our residents to such a sweet afternoon! 🍦💙

Summer may be winding down, but we’re still making the most of every moment!

We may have been a little quiet on social media lately, but that certainly doesn’t mean we haven’t been busy! ☀️💛

Summer at our community has been full of sunshine, celebrations, activities, community events, and—most importantly—plenty of smiles from our residents!

From enjoying the beautiful weather outdoors to getting creative with activities, welcoming visitors, and celebrating special occasions, there has been no shortage of fun happening around here.

One of our favorite parts of summer has been watching our residents enjoy these moments together—making memories, sharing stories, laughing, and simply soaking up the season.

While we haven’t shared as many updates recently, our team continues to be here every day, creating meaningful experiences and making sure our residents and their families feel supported, welcomed, and cared for.

We’re excited to catch you up on what we’ve been doing and share all the fun that the rest of summer has in store! 🌻

The summer heat may have kept us indoors, but it certainly didn’t stop the fun! ❤️🤍💙

Our residents enjoyed a festive Fourth of July celebration filled with patriotic spirit, laughter, and wonderful memories. Throughout the past few days, they got creative making patriotic hats, enjoyed delicious red, white, and blue pudding cups, and gathered together for a fun indoor picnic where everyone celebrated comfortably in the cool air.

We also had the pleasure of welcoming Bill McCallister, whose patriotic music and entertaining performance made the celebration even more special. It was a wonderful afternoon filled with smiles, singing, and togetherness.

At French Manor, we believe every day is an opportunity to create meaningful moments, regardless of the weather. Seeing our residents enjoy one another’s company and celebrate together is what makes our community feel like home.

Even with the summer heat and soaring temperatures, our residents know how to make the most of every day! ☀️❤️

We had an incredible time kicking off summer with our friends from Hospice of Michigan during a fun-filled celebration complete with a photo booth, laughter, and plenty of smiles. It was wonderful to watch our residents enjoying time together while creating special memories.

What an incredible day!

When planning this year's Car Show, our goal was to have 38 vehicles participate. Thanks to the amazing support of our community, we exceeded that goal and welcomed an incredible 47 cars!

We are truly grateful to everyone who came out to participate, attend, and help make this event such a success. Events like these are so much more than a car show—they bring joy, spark memories, and create meaningful experiences for our Assisted Living and Memory Care residents. Seeing classic vehicles often brings back stories, memories, and moments from years gone by, making the day especially meaningful for those we serve.
