Happy Labor Day! And a special thank you to all of those who are working on this holiday! Our Chef Keli whipped up a delicious Labor Day lunch for us to enjoy; BBQ chicken sandwich, homemade potato salad, Baked beans and a berry dump cake!

What an amazing afternoon we all had today in celebrating our wonderful Ms. Joan. To think about all the life she has lived in 100 years is extraordinary! We were so honored to be able to take part in this day with her. Thank you to ALL of you who sent in birthday cards…our goal was to get 100 and we got over 120! Thank you to our vendors who brought in balloons and helped make this day so special for her! The day has been so fun for her from balloons, decorations, cake, a walk down memory lane, custom made shirt from our CMA Shonna…our Executive Director and Resident Care Director even dressed up as some of Joan’s favorite things…Seabiscuit (horse) and a waffle!
