Tulsa looks pretty good in purple.💜

Especially when there’s this much heart behind it.

Taylor joined us at this year’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s with her grandmother on her heart.

And Bob reminded us that a day so deeply personal can be full of hope, too.
A world without Alzheimer’s. That’s the goal.

And judging by the amount of purple we saw in Tulsa this weekend, there are a whole lot of us feeling hopeful for the same thing.

We’re pretty sure there were more stories in the room than we’ll ever know. 💜

Some probably came with a name in mind. Some with a story. Some simply because someone they care about cares.

And a couple of those stories made their way to the mic.

We may never know every story that was in the room that night.

Jean shared something in this story that really stuck with us.

The Nifty Niners were created to honor residents in their 90s.

What happened next was something no one could've planned.

They became one of the biggest sources of encouragement in the community - lifting up neighbors, cheering on associates, and giving back to organizations all across Kansas City.

Turns out, when you've spent a lifetime caring for others... that doesn't just stop. ❤️
