I truly have the BEST residents ever at The Grove at Midtown! ❤️🥰

I am constantly reminded how lucky I am to do what I do. My residents are always willing to lend a helping hand, jump in when needed, and make my days a little brighter. Whether we’re working on an activity, getting things ready for an event, or just helping with the little things, they are always there for me! 🥰

It’s not just about the activities—it’s about the relationships, the laughter, the teamwork, and the love we share along the way. They may be my residents, but so often they feel like family. ❤️

Thank you to my amazing residents at The Grove at Midtown for always helping me, supporting me, and reminding me every day why I love what I do!

I couldn’t ask for a better group of people to share my days with! 💕✨

🌺🌴 Aloha from The Grove!🌴🌺

We turned up the tropical fun with our Luau Party! 🥥🍍🌺 From festive island vibes to smiles, laughter, great company, and talented singing our residents had an afternoon full of fun!

And of course, no luau would be complete without a little Hula Hoop competition! 💃🪩 Our residents and Staff showed off their skills, determination, and competitive spirit as they battled it out to see who could keep that hoop spinning the longest! 😂👏

There were lots of laughs, cheers, and maybe a few hoops that had a mind of their own! 😉

What a fantastic day of fun, friendship, and aloha spirit! 🌺💛

🦋 A Little Magic Took Flight! 🦋

Today was a beautiful day at The Grove as our residents gathered for a very special Monarch Butterfly Release! 🌿💛

There was something truly magical about watching these beautiful butterflies take their first flights and flutter off into the world. Our residents enjoyed getting up close, making memories, and celebrating the wonder of nature together. 🦋🌸

It was a gentle reminder that even the smallest moments can bring the biggest smiles. What a beautiful experience to share with our Grove family! 💕✨

🐾 Whiskers, Wags & Homemade Treats! 🐾

Today our residents put on their chef hats and got busy making some homemade dog treats! 🐶❤️

There was plenty of rolling, cutting, and—of course—a whole lot of fun along the way! Our residents loved knowing that their tasty creations would bring some very happy tails and wagging behinds. 🐕🦴

It’s amazing how something as simple as making a treat can create so many smiles, memories, and moments of connection. 💕

Our Lilac Lane ladies were ready to play ball! They had a wonderful time enjoying a fun-filled game of baseball with Amy from Refuge Care. From tossing the balls to aiming for those buckets, there were plenty of smiles, laughter, and a little friendly competition along the way! 🥎💙

Our Lilac Lane residents had an absolute BLAST during our Shuffleboard Showdown! 🙌❤️

There were smiles, laughs, friendly competition, and maybe just a little bit of bragging rights on the line! 😉 The residents showed off their skills as they slid those pucks down the board,( floor)cheering each other on every step of the way.

🍉 Sweet Summertime Fun at Our Watermelon Social for National Watermelon Day! 🍉

Nothing says summer quite like juicy watermelon and great company! Our residents gathered together to enjoy a refreshing Watermelon Social filled with laughter, conversation, and plenty of smiles.

There’s something special about sharing a simple treat with friends—it brings back cherished memories of summers gone by while creating new ones together. Watching everyone visit, laugh, and enjoy each other’s company made for a wonderful afternoon.

A big thank you to everyone who helped make this event so enjoyable. It’s moments like these that remind us that the sweetest memories are often made in the simplest ways.

Today we had the honor of celebrating International Day of the World’s Indigenous Peoples with a wonderful Culture Showcase!

Our residents enjoyed exploring a variety of Indigenous artifacts while learning about the history, purpose, and symbolic meaning behind each unique piece. It was a meaningful opportunity to celebrate the rich traditions, cultures, and heritage of Indigenous peoples from around the world.

A very special thank you to Ethen with Empower Me Wellness for providing live entertainment. Your performance was incredible and added so much joy and energy to our celebration!

We are also incredibly grateful to everyone who helped make this event such a success:

* Tammy with Gentiva Hospice, thank you for bringing your beautiful items to add to our showcase and for helping throughout the event.
* Denisa, our Dining Room Director, thank you for sharing so many wonderful artifacts that helped make our display even more special.
* A huge thank you to our Executive Director for contributing meaningful pieces to our showcase.
* Karen with Mays Hospice Care, thank you for your continued support and for helping with this special event.
* And last but certainly not least, Coby, thank you for all of your hard work and for reading the descriptions of each artifact aloud so everyone could learn and appreciate their history and significance.

It truly took a team effort to make this celebration possible, and we are so thankful for each of you. Together, we created an educational, engaging, and memorable experience for our residents while honoring the rich cultures and enduring traditions of Indigenous peoples
