Causeway Collaborative

Causeway Collaborative When talking is going nowhere,
we're somewhere that can help.

Causeway began in the fall of 2012, initially a single-man shop founded by Vince Benevento with a vision to improve the lives of young men. The business grew rapidly out of its original office space based upon the need in the community, developing a strong reputation and a trusted team of local referral partners in the process. Now, the firm is comprised of a highly trained staff of eight distingu

"The numbers speak for themselves.

2,500 plus young men and families served. A 96% attendance rate. 15 years of showing up for guys who needed someone in their corner.

At Causeway, we measure success by what actually changes. Not just whether a young man shows up to an appointment, but whether he starts to believe he is capable of something more. Whether his family starts to communicate differently. Whether he walks into the next chapter of his life with a plan and the confidence to follow it.

If your son needs that kind of support, we are here.

As the school year kicks back into gear, a lot of parents of teen boys are feeling the same thing quietly.

He is pulling away. You want to stay close. But every time you try, it seems to push him further.

The instinct is to either push harder or back off completely. Neither works particularly well.

Staying connected to your teen son is not about finding the perfect conversation or scheduling more quality time. It is about showing up consistently in the small moments he is not expecting. The drive. The kitchen. The side-by-side silence.

Our latest blog breaks down exactly how to stay present in your son's life without making him feel managed.

1 in 5 college men experience depression during their undergraduate years. Most never say a word about it.

Not because they do not need help. But because they do not know how to ask for it, do not want to seem weak, or genuinely believe they should be able to handle it on their own.
If your son is heading to college this fall, that statistic is worth sitting with. Not to scare you. Just to remind you that the transition is harder than it looks from the outside, and that staying connected matters more than most parents realize.

Causeway Collaborative works with young men and families through exactly these transitions. We are here when you need us.

Young men without a sense of purpose do not stay in a vacuum. They find something to fill it. And it is not always something you would choose for them.
Purpose is the single most protective factor for young men. When a young man has something to care about and invest himself in, he makes different decisions.

Our latest blog is for parents who want to get ahead of that, especially as school starts back up.

Drop-off day is coming. And most parents spend the final weeks focused on the checklist they can see. The dorm supplies, the meal plan, the parking pass.

But the conversations that actually matter are the ones most families skip.

Before your son walks through that door, make sure you have had the ones that count. This checklist is a place to start.

Save it, share it with a parent who has a college-bound son

Today is Respect for Parents Day. And we want to say something directly to the parents in our community.

What you are doing is hard. Loving a son who is struggling, staying steady when he pushes back, and continuing to show up when the connection feels out of reach. That takes more strength than most people will ever understand.

Tag a parent who is doing the work, staying present, and showing up for their family even on the hard days. They deserve to hear it.

You are not alone in this. And your effort matters more than you know."

Most people never see this part.

The unanswered texts.
The silence.
The waiting.

Sometimes healing starts because someone refused to give up.

Watch until the end.

"Summer has a way of sneaking up on families fast. One minute school is still in session. The next, the calendar is wide open and your son has no job, no plan, and nowhere to be.

Causeway futures coach Jordan Buckman says it is not too late to change that. In our latest blog, he shares practical guidance on how to help young men build a summer with more structure, more purpose, and less conflict at home. From finding seasonal work to rethinking what free time actually means, this one is worth the read.

Whether your son is in high school, heading into college, or trying to regroup after a tough year, a better summer really does start with a plan.
