Dr Pei Lin Wang offers a structured, evidence-based process for the assessment and management of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in adults and chlidren (>9 years old). The assessment is conducted over several appointments to ensure a thorough and accurate evaluation.

Step 1 – ADHD Screening / Initial Consultation
Purpose:
Initial discussion of symptoms, screening for ADHD, and review of relevant medical and mental health history to determine whether a full diagnostic assessment is appropriate.

Duration: 20 minutes

Step 2 – Comprehensive ADHD Diagnostic Assessment
Purpose:
A detailed clinical assessment including diagnostic interview, review of developmental history, functional impact, and screening for other possible conditions.

Duration: 60 minutes

Step 3 – Diagnosis Review & Treatment Planning
Purpose:
Discussion of assessment findings, confirmation of diagnosis where appropriate, and development of a personalised treatment plan. This may include medication initiation if clinically indicated.

Duration: 20 minutes

Lately, I've noticed many people seeking advice on weight loss in my clinic. I found a helpful summary table on medication-assisted weight loss treatment.

Currently, popular options include GLP-1 injectables like Mounjaro and Wegovy. Mounjaro has a slight advantage over Wegovy (20% vs 14% weight loss in a 56-week trial).

Remember to discuss potential side effects and contraindications with your doctor to determine the best choice for you. This post is for educational purposes only.

Unfortunately the cost of most injectables are still very expensive. For example, Wegovy and Mounjaro can cost up to $480 AUD per month.

There are various types of skin lesions, some are benign, some are dangerous.

Tldr: all skin cancers can be dangerous, melona in particular. If you are not sure, please see a doctor who has been trained in dermatoscopy to examine your lesion.

Dermatoscopy is the use of a magnifying equipment to examine skin pigments in high magnification using polarised and nonpolarised lights.
