Congratulations to Lori who recently graduated from the Marjorie Jackson-Nelson Centre for Women’s Sport Program!

Designed to empower and support women, the program helps female athletes, coaches, officials, administrators, volunteers and board members build their skills, confidence and leadership capability, creating opportunities for future generations in sport.

Lori completed the program through her involvement in surf lifesaving, demonstrating her commitment to both personal growth and making a positive impact in her community.

Aligned with our September masterclass, this month's exercise theme is squats.

If squats are something you've always struggled with, or you know your technique needs work, we encourage you to join our squat masterclass this Friday. In this session, we'll take you back to basics in a group education session, answering all your questions and breaking down the finer details we don’t always have time to cover in a regular class.

Apart from refining our technique, we'll also spend this month focusing on strengthening our squat muscles and trying some different types of squats.

The EP Studio's City-Bay Team's preparations are in full swing!

Our August Run Club crew turned up strong, taking on a 7km continuous run or powering through a 40‑minute interval run.

We’re also already nearly halfway to our fundraising goal - thank you so much to everyone who has donated so far!

The EP Studio City-Bay team is fundraising for Catherine House - Support for Women Experiencing Homelessness - South Australia’s only specialist homelessness service for women.

Join us on Friday 4 September at 5:15pm for our squat materclass.

Get back to basics with this movement in a group education session, where our practitioners get into all the details and intricacies that we sometimes just don't have the time to do in a normal class environment.

An absolute must if this movement is something you always struggle with or don't feel confident doing!

You'll leave the session with greater clarity and a better technique so you can squat with confidence in your regular sessions!

The EP Exercise Physiology and Movement Studio has been a long-time supporter of Catherine House - Support for Women Experiencing Homelessness, South Australia’s only specialist homelessness service for women. This year, our EP Studio City-Bay team is proud to be raising funds to support their important work.

Catherine House provides crisis and longer-term accommodation, along with a range of support services for women experiencing homelessness. Their work deals with the immediate issues created by homelessness and supports women in planning a future that helps them sustain housing and build meaningful and purposeful lives.

Catherine House relies on the support of the community to ensure they can provide women with not only a safe place to stay, but a variety of services to support their recovery. They accommodate up to 60 women experiencing homelessness every night, and provide an outreach service to women living in the community.

Join the EP Studio Run Club at our next running event this weekend!

Everyone is welcome - whether you’re a complete beginner, training for an event, returning from an injury, or simply love running with others. Bring your friends and family (even the kids!) - you don't have to be an EP Studio client to join the run.

This community isn’t about pace or performance - it’s about shared kilometres, good conversations, and building confidence in your body.

Date: Saturday 15th August - meet at 9:45am, leaving at 10:00am sharp
Location: Meet at the Melbourne Street EP Studio
After: Coffee at Fika ADL
