Your degree gave you the foundation. Medicolegal competencies build on top of that.
Defensibility, impartiality, court ready evidence... none of this is taught in undergrad programs. It's specialisation training, like paeds or hand therapy. You learn it after graduation through mentorship, CPD and years of refinement.
The gap is normal. Every medicolegal OT started exactly where you are.
