Motherhood doesn’t just add a new role to your life.

It transforms you.

Some parts of you grow louder.
Some parts go quiet.
And some parts… feel like they’ve disappeared completely.

Your creative self.
Your social self.
Your sensual self.
Your silly self.

But what if she isn’t gone?

What if she’s just been waiting?

In this episode, we explore the transition from Maiden to Mother — and the quiet work of rediscovering yourself inside motherhood.

Not by going back to who you were.

But by allowing a new version of you to emerge — deeper, wiser, more expansive.

And maybe… that version of you is exactly who your children need to witness.

If you’ve ever felt a little lost in the blur of giving and doing, this conversation is for you.

Back-to-School Anxiety With a New Baby at Home

Term starting. New baby home. No wonder everyone feels a little undone.

Two transitions landing at once is a lot to hold — for your nervous system, and for theirs.

What looks like back-to-school anxiety is often something quieter underneath: everyone in the house adjusting to a new rhythm, all at the same time.

This post gently unpacks why this season hits differently, and offers one small way back to steady.

Read it now. A free back-to-school meditation is linked too, for the mornings that need a slower start.

What if we treated life like a game?

Think about it.

When you enter a new world in a game, what do you do?

You build what you want.
You go where you want.
You design the experience you’re here to enjoy.

You don’t sit there paralysed thinking,
“What if I get it wrong?”
“What if this fails?”
“What if people judge me?”

You play.

And yet in real life, we tighten.
We stress.
We treat every decision like life or death.

In this conversation with Bree , there’s this beautiful shift:

It doesn’t matter.

Not in a careless way —
but in a liberated way.

You can create what you want.
If it works, beautiful.
If it doesn’t, that’s information.

That kind of freedom doesn’t come from bypassing.
It comes from years of inner work.
From loosening the grip of fear.

What if we approached our lives with curiosity instead of control?
With experimentation instead of perfection?

What would you build?
Where would you go?
Who would you become?

I am Anchoring this moment into my body. I’m taking a Deep breath in and allowing the joy and gratitude to spread from my heart into every cell of my being because my two little ones, 3 and 1, are playing beautifully together giving me uninterrupted time to pack their lunchboxes.

It may seem little to some but these moments felt so out of reach 22 months ago and yet today here we are.

If you’re feeling stretched and like there I no end in sight I’m here to tell you to breathe. It will come and it’s more beautiful than you could possibly imagine. 💜

What most people call the witching hour…
I call the connection hour.

That late afternoon bubble — when everyone is tired, hungry, and emotions are rising — is often when toddlers need connection the most.

Especially if they’ve been at daycare, school or preschool all day.

Their nervous systems have held it together all day long.

They need time to decompress.

Play is how children regulate.

So before the bedtime routine begins — dinner, bath, bed — I create space for play.

Mindful colouring.
Play-Doh.
Painting.
Blocks.
Dolls and dress-ups.

Nothing fancy.
Just time to be home in their bodies again.

Because when children have space to regulate through play, bedtime becomes a whole lot softer.
