We're growing and we're looking for two talented clinicians to join our team on Sydney's Northern Beaches!

MLSP Speech Pathology has spent 25 years building a practice where adults and adolescents receive genuinely specialised communication and swallowing care. Now, we're looking for people who want to be part of what comes next.

We're hiring for two roles:
• Senior Speech Pathologist | 3+ years adult experience
• Speech Pathologist | New and early-career graduates welcome

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of welcoming students from Texas Christian University into the MLSP Speech Pathology practice for a hands-on morning of clinical immersion ☺️

Students rotated through a series of stations spanning eye gaze technology, LAMP, aphasia therapy apps, voice and Parkinson's Disease techniques, and dysphagia and IDDSI, before finishing with a quintessentially Australian send-off: Vegemite and an MLSP goodie bag to take home.

Showing the next generation of clinicians what purposeful, client-centred private practice looks like, across a genuinely diverse caseload, is something we're proud to be part of.

Yesterday, we were privileged to be invited by CEA CAPA Education Abroad to speak with Speech Pathology students from TCU – Texas Christian University at UTS, sharing our clinical approach, our client stories, and our passion for the work we do every single day.

It was a reminder of why we do this: connection, curiosity, and a genuine belief that great speech pathology changes lives, wherever you are in the world!

Today is World Voice Day! 🗣️✨

The theme this year is “Caring for our voices.” As Speech Pathologists, we spend our days helping people find, reclaim, and protect their unique sounds. Whether you use your voice for your career, for connection, or for creativity, it is one of your most powerful tools.

Vocal health is essential. A croaky or hoarse voice, speaking with increased effort, or frequently losing your voice can all be indicators of a vocal issue. While rest can sometimes help, other times it’s important to investigate further to rule out anything serious.

A healthy voice should feel easy, clear, and sustainable.

How are you supporting your voice today?

More than 205, 000 Australians are autistic and 1 in 4 Australians have a family member on the autism spectrum.

At MLSP, we are fortunate enough to support a large number of autistic clients in individual sessions or groups - and thanks to them for the joy they bring to us all!

Today, we don’t just celebrate inclusion—we celebrate the unique flair, creativity, and perspective that Meagan and others with Down Syndrome bring to our world. When we embrace our differences, the world gets a whole lot more colorful.

For many, these moments are the highlight of the week. But for those with dysphagia (swallowing difficulties), socialising can be stressful.

We work with our clients to rebuild their confidence and find safe ways to eat and drink, so they can get back to what matters—sharing a meal with the people they love.

This Swallowing Awareness Day, we’re proud to support the 1 in 17 Australians living with dysphagia. Because connection often happens over a cup of coffee. ☕🧡

At MLSP Speech Pathology, we are an all-female team of speech pathologists. But our favorite stories aren't about us. They’re about the women and girls we see every day.

It’s the girl finding the confidence to speak up in her first job interview.

It’s the woman regaining her "voice" after a neurological change.

It’s the daughter finally being able to tell her family how she feels.

We provide the tools, but they provide the courage. Today, we celebrate the strength of every female client we have the privilege to support. 💜
