My ‘Girl Power’ team today.

These are a few of the amazing people in my surgical team. My lovely anaesthetist, Yvette and scrub nurse Caroline Caroline Sacroug

Not pictured are my fellow Jessie Gollow (too busy multi tasking) and anaesthetics nurse Jess Hudson (also busy working)

I am so fortunate to have a well oiled team, who ensures everything flows seamlessly, who makes my patients comfortable during one of the most vulnerable times in their lives.

These are the lovely people who always turn up and quietly do their job (amazingly) and don’t give themselves praise ~ but I want to give them praise, for doing a great job. And that I don’t take them for granted.

Seeing my team today, made me proud of how far the surgical field has come. It wasn’t that long ago, that females couldn’t be a part of the surgical fellowships, could not study medicine etc.

Thank YOU also, for trusting my team to care for you.

The Then and Now.

How baby Ellery has grown over the years. She is finally going to be “big sister” after mummy and daddy’s scenic route through their fertility journey. She brought her own stethoscope to our recent appointment, and was also very diligent in helping me check the baby.

I love how the work we do, helps them bond with their unborn siblings, and also hopefully inspire the future generation to consider this highly rewarding career path.

Team and attended the AGES ASM 2026 held in beautiful Auckland this week.

Our fellow Dr Jessie Gollow presented a video on uterosacral ligament suspension at the time of laparoscopic hysterectomy to minimise prolapse symptoms. We also presented our promising data on in reawakening the ovaries, in our diminished ovarian reserve cohort of patients.

Team also celebrated graduating from her advanced training, and joining our Create family 🫶🏻

I’m back from my cultural holiday, and headed straight back to work! It’s been a massive week with IVF procedures, surgeries, consults, babies (and it’s only Wednesday haha). Good kinda busy, I call it - changing lives for the better 😛🤣

I also attended the ARTIST education dinner with my team, discussing evolving trends in IVF and the ART sphere.

It was lovely catching up with and .nikos, who were both so engaging and captivating with their presentations.

Welcoming the year of the fire 🔥 horse 🐎 with the Cheahs.

The Horse is meant to represent freedom and speed, whilst the fire element brings more intensity and urgency. Doing well in 2026 requires adaptability, yet exercise some caution and discipline.

It’s always a good day operating alongside my team.

Some days, we get operate together in side-by-side theatres! These days are the best times for us to bounce ideas off each other and to get extra opinions on complex cases.

Other days, it’s just a lovely opportunity for us all to catch up between cases, share food, jokes, and to get up to speed with each other’s lives.

Today, the lovely and also joined in the fun 🫶🏻 I love the vibe of how we genuinely just love hanging out with each other!! 💕 I truly have the best team xx

Signing out for a short break during this holiday season to refill my own cup. This season can be conflicting and challenging to many, myself included. So know that I’m thinking of all of you.

Don’t worry, I won’t be gone for long. I’ll be back before you know it, to welcome the last few 2025 babies, and to usher in 2026 with new hope and aspirations.
