Working at RFDS WA captured one frame at a time 📸

Our annual Flying Doctor Day Photography Competition invites RFDS team members to share images that capture the essence of what we do, where we do it, and the communities we serve across Western Australia.

With more than 140 entries submitted across our three categories, CEO Judith Barker had the hard task of selecting winners across four categories.

This National Volunteer Week, we celebrate Trish Thompson and her remarkable journey with the Royal Flying Doctor Service, a connection that has spanned over half her life.

From her first role with the RFDS in Broken Hill, NSW, to working across operations, service support and fundraising, Trish has a remarkable connection to our service. She is now a volunteer at Jandakot in WA and a life member of the RFDS, which is one of her proudest moments to date.
