Please join us in welcoming Meghan LeSouder as our new Executive Operations Support. Meghan has strong experience working in nonprofits and within hospital foundations across the Kitchener-Waterloo Region.

At the CMH Foundation, Meghan will help strengthen executive coordination and operational alignment across the team, including governance support, building internal workflows, and the day-to-day coordination that enables our work to move forward effectively.

CMH has renovated two Emergency Department Mental Health Safe Rooms and added a third room, with support from the City of Cambridge, to help meet the growing needs of our community.

These specialized spaces provide a safe, supportive environment where patients experiencing a mental health or addiction-related crisis can receive care and early intervention without waiting in the general Emergency Department waiting area, improving the patient experience and enhancing safety for everyone at CMH.

We got our new MRI delivered today (Sept. 19)! It has the latest and greatest MR technology from Siemens and CMH is the first in Canada to have one! Of course, we could not have done this without our amazing community and generous donors - THANK YOU!! Huge thank you to Woodhouse Group, one of our donors, for the generous donation of two GIANT Santa bags filled with toys and activities. These will be distributed across the hospital to support our youngest patients, including some that rely on the Elder Life HELP Program to reduce the risk of dementia while in hospital throughout the year.
