PT Student Spotlight!

Jordyn is a second-year Master of Science in Physical Therapy (MScPT) student at the University of Toronto and is currently completing her fifth and final clinical internship at Triangle Physiotherapy. Prior to entering the MScPT program, she completed a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at Western University.

Outside of the clinic, Jordyn enjoys staying active and spending time outdoors, whether it's going for a run along the waterfront or exploring a new café downtown with friends. She also enjoys spending time with her family at their cottage by the lake.

Jordyn's passion for physiotherapy began when her uncle was diagnosed with brain cancer. It was his physiotherapist who first recognized concerning signs, leading to an earlier diagnosis. Watching the physiotherapists work with him throughout his hospital journey opened her eyes to the breadth of the profession and the meaningful impact physiotherapists can have on patients across the continuum of care. This experience inspired her to pursue a career dedicated to helping others achieve their goals and improve their quality of life through movement and rehabilitation.

Having grown up playing competitive hockey, Jordyn has developed a lifelong appreciation for sport and movement. For the past three years, she has also worked on the sidelines with men's and women's ice hockey teams, providing on-ice and game-day physiotherapy support. These experiences have fostered a strong interest in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, and she looks forward to helping patients return to the activities that matter most to them.

“When the days get busy and the phones won’t slow, the clinic doesn’t struggle, and the team thrives.”

This Admin Professionals Day, we celebrate the ones who keep everything moving - quietly, consistently, and powerfully.

Our patient care coordinators, our billing team, our HQ Team - you are the backbone of every patient experience. When schedules fill, challenges rise, and the pace doesn’t let up - YOU show up, support each other, and make it all work.

Because in the end, it’s not about one person holding it together - it’s about a team that always does.

Thank you for being the strength behind the scenes 🤍
