Atty completed her Honours Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology at McMaster University, while working in a specialized exercise facility for individuals living with neurological, cardiac, and chronic health conditions.
She went on to complete her Master’s of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto, where she completed placements in acute stroke units, in-patient stroke rehabilitation, and with Neurochangers! She also conducted research in paediatric neurological conditions in collaboration with Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital. These experiences solidified her passion for working with neurological populations, and she has been doing so ever since.
Atty now works with a broad range of clients including stroke, acquired brain injury, spinal cord injury, multiple sclerosis, FND, and cerebral palsy, as well as orthopaedic injuries. She has completed her Introductory and Basic Bobath Concept certifications and trained in Stott Pilates clinical reformer pilates. In her spare time, Atty enjoys being outdoors with friends and family, travelling, and trying out as many new places to eat in Toronto as financially possible.
