A couple of months ago our lovely care team colleague, Katie said that she would like to do a Sky Dive as a fund raiser for the Alzheimer's Society, which is a cause very close to her heart.

We are delighted to say that all went well for Katie, and her Father who accompanied her, and what stunning photos of such an incredible achievement !

Our fabulous resident, Pat Chesney put her knitting skills to great use and hand knitted red love hearts which she sold to colleagues, friends and families and made a significant donation to Katie's appeal.

As the temperature has been rising throughout this week, our have added in a mouthwatering selection of cold dishes and drinks to ensure that the nutrition and hydration needs of everyone here are fully met.

Fresh produce and a creative flair produced the most tantalising of options, and here are a small selection of photo's showing what we have enjoyed this week.

We are continuing to make the most of this glorious weather, and have been tending to our raised flower beds on our balcony floor, to keep everything blooming and looking gorgeous 💐🌷🌹

And to prevent us from wilting in this heat, we also have a constant supply of cold drinks, ice lollies and ice cream to keep us cool and hydrated 😃

There is always something to do if you fancy it, and also always the option to have some quiet time if you prefer.

Today we have sung, danced and laughed (a lot!), and also spent time in our beautiful garden doing some planting and weeding, and enjoying this glorious weather ☀️with plenty of cold drinks and ice creams to keep us cool and hydrated.

Our Bistro is available 24 hours a day for our residents and their friends and families and is always stocked with a fantastic array of snacks and drinks for everyone to enjoy.

Just take a look at the home made cakes in the fridge, the beautiful range of herbal and traditional teas, the coffee machine which grinds the beans for each cup, fresh fruit is always available and chilled drinks to keep us cool and hydrated.

All thanks to our magnificent and the dining team - Thank you for all that you do 😀

With the recent lovely (excluding the heatwave!🥵) weather we have had, we have made the most of our mini bus and have gone to some varied and lovely places.
