Job Description:
We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team at Erskine Practice. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a multi-skilled environment, providing vital support to both our patients and clinical teams.
This role includes the processing and management of repeat prescriptions, ensuring requests are handled accurately, efficiently, and in line with Practice policies. In addition, you will provide reception and administrative support, acting as a first point of contact for patients and helping to deliver an excellent patient experience.
Main Responsibilities
Process repeat prescription requests accurately and in line with Practice procedures.
Act as the main point of contact for patients with prescription-related enquiries and liaise with GPs and clinical staff to resolve queries.
Receive, assist, and direct patients to the appropriate healthcare professional or service in a courteous and professional manner.
Respond to telephone, face-to-face, and electronic enquiries promptly and effectively.
Book, amend, and manage patient appointments and home visit requests.
Contact patients on behalf of the clinical team and support access to Practice and community healthcare services.
Register new patients, maintain accurate patient records, and update clinical systems.
Provide general administrative support, including managing correspondence and other Practice administration tasks.
Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with Practice policies and procedures.
Work collaboratively with the wider clinical and administrative team to deliver excellent patient care and customer service.
