We're proud to be recognised as a veteran-friendly care home. 🎖️

For residents who have served, their military experiences can remain an important part of who they are, and understanding those experiences helps us make their care even more personal.

As a veteran herself, Melissa knows how meaningful those connections can be. Visits from our friends at HMS Collingwood, afternoons spent together and trips to divisions can bring back memories, spark conversations and create some really special moments.

It’s an achievement we’re incredibly proud of and another way we can make sure every resident feels understood as an individual.

Nearly 20 years with Heathfield and still loving what she does! 💚

Bea’s journey began as a care assistant after moving to England, before progressing through nursing and senior roles to become Registered Manager of Tudor Lodge in 2015.

What has kept her here all these years is simple. No two days are the same, and nursing here is about so much more than clinical care. It’s getting to know people, building relationships with residents and supporting their families too.

For Bea and her team, the goal every day is to make the care they provide the very best it can be.

22 years of growing alongside Tudor Lodge. 💚

Leena began her journey here as a nurse 22 years ago, progressing to Senior Nurse and now Deputy Nurse Manager.

Today, she works closely with the wider team to keep everything running smoothly, but the part of her role she values most has remained beautifully simple: seeing residents comfortable, families reassured and a happy atmosphere throughout the home.

More than two decades later, that’s still what makes the job so rewarding.
