From September this year, schools in England will be expected to have stronger allergy management arrangements in place, including clearer allergy policies, improved staff awareness, emergency response procedures, healthcare planning and access to emergency medication.

We have the following 12 Hour Blended Paediatric first aid courses planned before the start of the school holidays.

20th June 2026 - Grove Centre - Horsforth - Leeds
11th July 2026 - Kippax Methodist Church - Kippax, Leeds

9.30 am until 3.30 pm on all dates
All of the courses are recognised by Ofsted and Early years and accredited through FAIB (First Aid Industry body)

🚨 Benedict’s Law is coming this September – is your school ready?

From September 2026, the proposed Benedict’s Law will significantly strengthen how schools manage and respond to allergies.

This is a positive step forward - but it also brings clear expectations.

Schools will need to demonstrate:
✔ Effective allergy management policies
✔ Trained and confident staff
✔ Emergency response readiness (including auto-injectors)
✔ Clear communication with parents and carers
✔ Suitable risk assessments and control measures
