Today at Signature at Highgate, we were delighted to welcome a local PC, who delivered an informative and engaging talk to our residents about online scams and fraud prevention.

During the session, residents learned how to recognise common scams, protect their personal information, and stay safe online. Carolyn shared the concerning statistic that fraud and online scams now account for 41% of all crimes in London, highlighting the importance of staying informed and vigilant.

Our residents were encouraged to ask questions, share experiences, and received a helpful handbook to take away for future reference.

A huge thank you to our local PC for taking the time to educate and empower our residents with practical advice that can help keep them safe and confident in today's digital world.

✨ At Signature at Highgate, every resident has a story worth sharing. ✨

Yesterday, we had the privilege of hosting a wonderful talk by our resident Angela, who shared the remarkable journey behind her book Memoirs of a Party Animal.

From living through the Blitz in London as a young girl to her adventures travelling the world, Angela captivated us with stories of resilience, courage, and a life well lived. She also spoke passionately about the animal charities she has supported throughout her life, a cause that remains incredibly close to her heart.

Angela's dedication to animal welfare is truly inspiring. Since joining our Signature at Highgate family, we have been proud to support her charitable work by helping organise fundraising events that continue to raise valuable funds and awareness for the causes she champions.

At Signature at Highgate, we believe in celebrating the unique experiences, achievements, and passions of every resident. Angela's story is a wonderful reminder that it's never too late to inspire others and make a difference.

Today at Signature at Highgate, we were delighted to welcome two local police officers into our home for lunch, conversation, and an incredibly insightful afternoon with our residents 👮‍♂️💙

Our residents had the opportunity to ask important questions about crime prevention, personal safety, what to do if they witness a crime, and how to stay safe in the community. The session sparked fantastic discussions, lots of laughter, and even a little excitement when one resident volunteered to experience what it feels like to be handcuffed! 🚔😄

At Signature at Highgate, we believe in creating meaningful connections with our local community while supporting our residents to feel informed, safe, and engaged. Thank you to our wonderful local officers for taking the time to visit and share their knowledge with us.

As Dementia Action Week comes to a close, we’ve been reflecting on the importance of connection, joy, and meaningful moments 💜

Our residents at Signature at Highgate had a wonderful time enjoying a Music & Movement session with the lovely Raven 🎶 followed by a beautiful alfresco lunch in the sunshine ☀️🍽️

Residents were able to choose their own meals using our personalised show plates, encouraging independence and choice at every dining experience — all accompanied by a lovely glass of wine to make the afternoon extra special 🍷

Today at Signature at Highgate, we celebrated in the most wonderful way ☕🍰

This morning, our talented chef hosted a special baking demonstration where residents enjoyed making freshly baked scones ahead of our afternoon tea celebration. Later, residents, families, and visitors came together to experience and taste a variety of teas from around the world, including traditional Turkish tea and aromatic chai tea.

It was a lovely afternoon filled with conversation, laughter, delicious treats, and the joy of sharing different cultures together. Moments like these are what make our community so special 💛
