Springdene has been providing luxury care in a warm and friendly environment for over 55 years.

Spring Grove (Hampstead), which was purpose built in 1992 to luxury hotel standards, is situated on the Finchley Road near to Swiss Cottage in north London and is close to local shops and public transport. It has large terraces and gardens and has on-site parking so that the home can be visited easily by friends and family.

Spring Lane (Muswell Hill), previously known as Charles Clore House, is approximately ¼ mile from Muswell Hill Broadway and is ideally located in a residential area close to local shops and public transport. After being purchased from Jewish Care the home underwent a £2.5m refurbishment programme and is one of the finest and best appointed homes for older people in North London.

Springview (Enfield) is a purpose built residential care home situated near to Enfield Town with its local shops and public transport. It stands in tranquil surroundings close to green belt countryside with views overlooking Enfield golf course and beyond. There is ample on-site visitor parking so that the home can be visited easily by friends and family. The home underwent a major refurbishment programme in 2009 which included a complete overhaul of the lounges and dining room. Residents now enjoy superb facilities including air conditioning, modern lighting and new furniture.

🍫 World Chocolate Day at Springdene Care Homes! 🍫

What a fantastic day of chocolate, conversation and cherished memories!

Residents explored the fascinating history of chocolate before enjoying a guided tasting of much-loved Cadbury UK classics, sharing favourite bars, childhood memories and lively debates over their top picks.

The celebrations continued with a flowing chocolate fountain and fresh fruit, delicious crêpes and creative cupcake decorating.

More than just a sweet treat, the day encouraged reminiscence, sensory stimulation, creativity, choice and meaningful social interaction - bringing smiles, laughter and wonderful conversations throughout.

A truly delicious day enjoyed by all! 🍫🍓🧁

🌍🏆⚽ The FIFA World Cup... but not as you know it!
At Springdene Care Homes, the FIFA World Cup became a journey around the world.
Rather than focusing solely on football, residents explored each participating nation through its flag, national anthem, geography, culture and fascinating facts. As the tournament progressed, every match day introduced a new country to discover.
The experience was brought to life with authentic food and drink inspired by competing nations - from 🇫🇷 French cheeses to 🇵🇹 Portuguese pastel de nata, 🇧🇪 Belgian waffles and b**r, 🇲🇽 Mexican guacamole and nachos, 🇪🇸 Spanish Manchego, 🇩🇪 German Cambozola, 🇨🇭 Swiss chocolate, 🇳🇱 Dutch stroopwafels and HEINEKEN UK l***r and more.
The programme sparked reminiscence, conversation, learning and sensory experiences, celebrating cultures from around the world while creating meaningful moments for everyone - whether they followed football or not.

The Summer Festival at Springview brought out the best that the local community had to offer last Sunday. From the jazz music drifting through Enfield 🎷, the stunning collection of classic cars provided by and the 🚘, the local 🚒entertaining people of all ages, the collaborative art mural inspired by Monet 🖼, to the scrumptious BBQ and desserts hand-crafted by our catering team🍨. This was all to raise money for who brought their dedicated volunteers to teach visitors essential lifesaving skills. We are grateful to all those who made this amazing day happen!

⚽🏆 England's Coming Home! 🏆⚽

Our wonderful residents at Springview proudly showed their support for the Three Lions, singing, waving England flags and even lifting a replica World Cup trophy in the hope of bringing football home! ❤️🤍

Although it wasn't to be this time, we're incredibly proud of England football team for reaching the FIFA World Cup semi-finals and giving the country a tournament to remember. Our residents have loved following the matches, reminiscing about World Cups gone by and sharing the excitement together.

Well done England – we'll be cheering you on again next time! 🦁🏆

🍺 Cheers to B**r! 🍺

At Springdene Care Homes, Where Life is for Living means creating meaningful experiences that celebrate our residents' lives, interests and memories.

To mark B**r Day Britain, our homes enjoyed an authentic pub experience, exploring Britain's rich brewing heritage through conversation, reminiscence and, of course, a carefully chosen selection of fantastic b**rs.

Residents learnt why B**r Day Britain is celebrated every 15th June, discovered how b**r is crafted from just four key ingredients – water, malted barley, hops and yeast – explored the fascinating history of brewing, and sampled a variety of b**rs, from familiar favourites to exciting new discoveries, complete with tasting notes.

The benefits went far beyond the b**r itself. The session sparked reminiscence, encouraged conversation, provided sensory stimulation, celebrated British culture and heritage, promoted choice and brought residents together to share stories, laughter and friendly debates over their favourite tipple.

A heartfelt thank you to Jane Peyton, founder of B**r Day Britain, whose continued support helped make this celebration possible once again by arranging such generous brewery donations.

We are also incredibly grateful to HEINEKEN UK (Birra Moretti, Cruzcampo, John Smith's), Timothy Taylor's Brewery, Abbeydale Brewery, Neptune Brewery and Big Hug Brewing. Your generosity didn't simply provide b**r; it created moments of joy, conversation, reminiscence and connection that our residents will remember long after the last glass was raised.

🇵🇭 Mabuhay! Happy Philippines Independence Day! 🇵🇭
Residents, staff and visitors enjoyed a wonderful celebration of Filipino culture across Springdene Care Homes.
The day included presentations about the Philippines and the significance of Independence Day, authentic Filipino food prepared by our talented teams, and fantastic performances of traditional dances by staff dressed in beautiful traditional attire.
It was a joyful day of learning, sharing and togetherness, made even more special by our Filipino colleagues, who proudly shared their culture, heritage and traditions with everyone.
Thank you to all who helped make the celebrations such a success. 🇵🇭❤️

Thank You Heineken & Jane Peyton!

🍎🥂 A Special World C***r Day Celebration 🥂🍎

Springdene Care Homes residents enjoyed a truly memorable World C***r Day celebration this week, thanks to the generosity of Heineken UK and the expertise of renowned drinks writer, c***r educator and broadcaster Jane Peyton School of Booze.

We were delighted to receive a donation of Inch's Medium Apple C***r, Inch's 0.0% Alcohol-Free C***r, Strongbow Original and Old Mout Berries & Cherries, helping us create a wonderful tasting experience for our residents.

A huge thank you also goes to Jane Peyton, who joined us to deliver a fascinating presentation on the history of c***r, Britain's orchard heritage and the c***r-making process, before leading residents through an engaging and informative tasting session.

Jane's warmth, knowledge and passion for c***r sparked fantastic discussion, reminiscence and debate, with residents sharing memories of pubs, holidays, celebrations and favourite tipples from years gone by.

The afternoon was filled with learning, laughter and meaningful conversation, demonstrating how food and drink can be used as a powerful tool for reminiscence, social connection and wellbeing.

Thank you to Jane Peyton and Heineken UK for helping us create such a memorable experience for our residents.
