Today we're celebrating our fantastic phlebotomist, Fiona. 💜

"Fiona is just incredible. She's so wonderful and makes me feel much better about each blood test. I need regular appointments due to my medication, but I'm always still incredibly nervous. Fiona always puts me at ease, she's the only person who seems to be able to get my blood first time with minimal fuss.”

Today, Officers from Cumbria Constabulary's Economic Crime Unit, Cyber & Digital Crime Unit, and the Eden Neighbourhood Policing Team attended the Lakes Medical Practice Roadshow.

It was a fantastic opportunity to meet members of the local community, offer crime prevention advice and support, and engage with partner agencies to explore how we can continue working together to provide the best possible service for our communities.

We'd like to extend a sincere thank you for your warm hospitality, and to everyone who took the time to come along, chat with us, and make the day such a success. We look forward to continuing to work together to keep our communities safe.

Come along and see us this Monday at the Rugby Club from 1:00pm–4:00pm to discover the fantastic health and wellbeing services available across Eden. Including:
Age UK, Eden sight support, Eden Valley Hospice, Eden Primary Care Network, Penrith Library, 4EDEN, Eden PCN - Cancer Support, Team Autism CIC, The Happy Mums Foundation, NHS Wellbeing Service - North Cumbria, Family Hubs in Eden, The Cumbria Farmer Network, Cumbria Police.
Anthea from our Patient Participation Group (PPG) will also be in attendance if you'd like to find out more about the group and how you can get involved.

Our team will be there to say hello, including Sarah and Dawn from our Management Team and Dr Preston, GP Partner, who will be happy to answer your questions about The Lakes Medical Practice.

We're looking forward to chatting with you about the practice and helping you find out more about the support available in our community.
