May is Mental Health Awareness Month. 💚
Mental Health Awareness Month is a reminder to pause and honestly check in with ourselves about how we are doing mentally and emotionally, not just physically. It is also an opportunity to support one another through empathy, conversation, and connection while continuing to normalize discussions surrounding mental health, seeking professional support when needed, and advocating for greater awareness and access to mental health resources and services.

Mental health is an essential part of overall health and wellbeing. It impacts individuals, families, workplaces, schools, and communities every day. Continued awareness and open dialogue play an important role in reducing stigma and fostering supportive communities where individuals feel encouraged to seek help when needed.

This month, let’s continue prioritizing mental wellbeing, supporting one another, and advocating for accessible, compassionate mental health care and resources for all. 💚

On International Women’s Day, we celebrate the strength, leadership, and compassion of women making a difference every day.

We are grateful for the many women whose dedication, expertise, and care continue to uplift and support others.

🖤 Today we observe Black Balloon Day, remembering the lives lost to overdose and honoring the families and communities impacted by substance use.

Stigma keeps people from seeking help, but awareness saves lives. Let’s stand together on to remember, support, and take action. Follow for resources and access to free overdose reversal kits.

Meaningful impact takes more than strategy — it takes people.

Our ASPIN team gathered to celebrate the work happening across our organization and the connections that make it possible. From equipping individuals with the tools and training to serve their communities to walking alongside people as they navigate complex health systems, this team shows up every day ready to make a difference.

The celebration also included recognizing a special milestone — the 19th work anniversary of ASPIN CEO/President Paul Conrad. We’re grateful for his leadership and continued commitment to ASPIN’s mission!

Taking time to celebrate together is a reminder that the work we do in our communities is strengthened by the relationships we nurture within our own team. Both are foundational to meaningful impact.

We’re proud of this team and grateful for the opportunity to continue strengthening communities across Indiana.

ASPIN was proud to attend the Indiana FCCLA State Leadership Conference at the Horizon Convention Center in Muncie today!
The conference brought together student leaders from across Indiana for sessions, competitions, and the Career, College, and Community Expo — creating valuable opportunities for youth to explore future education and career pathways.

Throughout the event, ASPIN was able to connect with students and attendees to share information about our Community Health Worker (CHW) Certification training opportunities. ASPIN Outreach Coordinator and Training Instructor Michele Glenn represented our team, engaging directly with students about accessible CTE training opportunities and pathways into behavioral health careers.

We’re grateful for opportunities to connect with future leaders and increase awareness of career pathways available to students across Indiana!
