If you ask a lot of women once they become mothers, what their interests are you are likely to hear answers related to their children’s interest. Take it one step further and ask them to tell you about themselves, more than likely the they are going to say something related to do with their role as a mom. Ask them what their daily calendar looks like, it’s probably filled with things like carpool, lines, coordinating birthday party invitations, making sure the household laundry is done, ensuring the grocery list covers snacks and lunches for the kids, meal planning and dinner prep …. You get the idea. When women become mothers the line between their role as a mom and their personal identity becomes very blurred.
