🌿🎨 This spring, our residents have been creating meaningful artwork alongside our talented Art Therapist, Laura First. One of our favorite traditions is the creation of birds for our Storytelling Grove. Each resident designs a bird that is displayed around campus, helping to symbolically welcome spring and reflect the unique voices that make up our community.
We also continue our seasonal mural tradition, marking the movement into a new season through collaborative art. Every resident is invited to contribute something to the mural, creating a visual expression of community, shared experience, and belonging. Once complete, the mural is proudly displayed in our Great Room as a reminder that everyone has a place here and that belonging can be made visible.
Art has a powerful way of helping individuals process change, express identity, and build connection. We are grateful for the creativity, vulnerability, and community spirit our residents bring to these traditions each season.
