🌿🎨 This spring, our residents have been creating meaningful artwork alongside our talented Art Therapist, Laura First. One of our favorite traditions is the creation of birds for our Storytelling Grove. Each resident designs a bird that is displayed around campus, helping to symbolically welcome spring and reflect the unique voices that make up our community.

We also continue our seasonal mural tradition, marking the movement into a new season through collaborative art. Every resident is invited to contribute something to the mural, creating a visual expression of community, shared experience, and belonging. Once complete, the mural is proudly displayed in our Great Room as a reminder that everyone has a place here and that belonging can be made visible.

Art has a powerful way of helping individuals process change, express identity, and build connection. We are grateful for the creativity, vulnerability, and community spirit our residents bring to these traditions each season.

What a meaningful way to close out the IECA--Independent Educational Consultants Association Conference!

Last week’s post-conference tour was everything we hoped it would be — and that is entirely because of the incredible people who joined us. The thoughtful conversations, insightful questions, and genuine engagement at every stop made this experience much more than a tour. It felt like a true community coming together.

A sincere thank you to our partners at Help in the Home, LLC, ClearView Communities, and the CLE | College Living Experience team for opening your doors and offering an honest, behind-the-scenes look at the impactful work happening every day. The families we serve are stronger and better supported because dedicated professionals take the time to learn, connect, and deepen their understanding of the options available.

We hope everyone left feeling inspired, informed, and connected to a few new people in their corner. Here's to continuing these conversations, strengthening partnerships, and building community together.

At ClearView Communities, wellness looks different for everyone. 💙

For some residents, it’s strength training at the gym. For others, it’s yoga, hiking, swimming, basketball, or simply taking a walk with someone supportive by their side. Our Wellness Program focuses on helping each resident discover forms of movement they genuinely enjoy — or at least feel comfortable exploring — and incorporating them into daily life in a realistic, sustainable way.

One thing that has stood out most is how meaningful connection can be. Weekly walks through Baker Park in downtown Frederick became something residents looked forward to, even during the coldest winter days, simply because they were doing it together.

Healing happens in community, and sometimes wellness begins with one small step outside. 🌿

There’s something special about seeing our campus through the eyes of our residents. 🌸

One of our residents recently shared these beautiful photos of the peonies blooming around campus — capturing both the vibrant dark pink and soft light pink flowers that brighten our community this time of year. Photography has become a creative outlet she’s reconnecting with, and we’re grateful she allowed us to share her work.

At ClearView Communities, healing is not one-size-fits-all. Growth can happen in many forms — through connection, creativity, rediscovering passions, and finding moments of beauty in everyday life. Sometimes, it starts with simply picking up a camera again and seeing the world differently.

We’re proud to celebrate the talents, interests, and personal growth of the young adults in our community each day. 🌿📸

🎉 Celebrating Our April Employee of the Month: Tim White, Recovery Coach 🎉

Tim was nominated by multiple team members who consistently recognized his dedication, compassion, and strong work ethic. Here are just a few of the reasons his colleagues nominated him:

• Consistently provides accurate information, guidance, and support to both residents and staff

• Extremely dependable, reliable, and always willing to help

• Goes above and beyond his responsibilities to support the team’s success

• Demonstrates empathy and encourages residents through difficult situations

• Ensures strong communication during shift changeovers and keeps houses prepared for the next team

• Shares valuable insight and knowledge about the field and organizational procedures

• A collaborative and supportive colleague who others enjoy learning from

• Deeply committed to resident wellbeing and quality care

One nomination described Tim’s work ethic as “unmatched,” and we could not agree more. His consistency, professionalism, and dedication make a meaningful impact on our residents and our team every single day.

👏 Thank you, Tim, for all that you do and for the positive energy and leadership you bring to ClearView Communities!

✨🎓 Honored to Be Part of the ALT Fair Boston 🎓✨

ClearView Communities was honored to be a part of the ALT Fair in Boston this past weekend!

The ALT Fair was created to help families and young adults explore meaningful alternatives to traditional college pathways, including gap year programs, therapeutic programs, transition support, apprenticeships, and more. It was inspiring to connect with so many families and professionals who are passionate about helping young adults find paths where they can truly thrive.

We were also grateful to host a dinner alongside Carmen Zahra at CLE | College Living Experience before the fair, bringing together more than 22 professionals for an evening of connection and collaboration.

The fair itself was packed, and we loved the opportunity to have thoughtful 1:1 conversations and build new relationships throughout the weekend.

🌸🌿 We celebrated our annual May Pole event on the lawn by our greenhouse, and it was such a special way to welcome the season 🌿🌸

Inspired by the ancient tradition of Beltane, this gathering marked the turning of the Wheel of the Year and the beginning of summer—a time to invite in growth, abundance, and connection. Residents and staff came together to prepare and fill the poles with greenery before weaving vibrant ribbons in a beautiful, shared braid around not one, but two May poles.

Surrounded by blooms and fresh spring air, the afternoon was filled with joy, intention, and community. From honoring pollinators to celebrating another season of growth and harvest, this event reminded us of the power of coming together in meaningful, grounding ways.

🌼 Here’s to new beginnings, full bloom, and the season ahead 🌼

We had such a meaningful morning at our Nature Walk & Networking event last week at Brookside Gardens, Montgomery Parks.

A special thank you to Antoinette Vasseur, CNIP, THP, CPD for guiding us through a thoughtful reflection on the change of seasons as we enter spring—it set the tone in such an intentional and grounding way. And thank you to Shannon Harris, LMSW, MBA and her team at Help in the Home, LLC for co-hosting and helping bring this event to life.

With a wonderful turnout, beautiful blooms all around us, and a mix of new and familiar faces, the morning was filled with genuine connection and great conversation. These are the moments that remind us how powerful it is to step outside, slow down, and build community together.

We hope to see even more of you at our next one—stay tuned for our Summer event!
