💡 Sometimes people don't need a solution. They just need someone to listen.

Our founder, Bo Lopker, recently sat down with VoyageLA to share the story behind Totem, including how his own experience with grief led him to recognize something missing. ➡️ A place to be understood without needing to be fixed.

Bo talks about Totem can be difficult to explain until you've actually experienced a Space. We can tell you about our Keepers and how our free peer-support groups work. But explaining how it feels is a little harder.

As Bo puts it, "Our Spaces feel like a deep breath."

The conversation continues. He discusses why keeping Spaces free matters, how technology can bring us closer to human connection, and why what happens after a Space can be just as meaningful as the hour itself.

Totem is a place to connect with real people through free, online, peer led conversation groups. We talk about everything from relationships and parenting to loneliness, grief, identity, and all the messy stuff that comes with being human.

In our sessions, everyone gets a chance to share uninterupted, cameras are optional and nobody is there to fix, or give you unsolicited advice.
