We provide HIV testing, mental health, HIV prevention, housing and support services for people living with or at-risk for HIV/AIDS in LA and Orange Counties.

APAIT’s mission is to positively impact the quality of life for vulnerable communities experiencing behavioral health challenges, housing insecurity, and at-risk for HIV/AIDS. APAIT is grounded by its core values of compassion, commitment, communication, empowerment, integrity, mentorship, respect, and teamwork.

Our California Worker's Outreach Project Team are proud to be an official partner in the new Food Access Investing in Resilience (FAIR) Program for our Community Health & Wellness Clinic on August 7th from 11AM - 3PM in Lincoln Heights (in front of PUBLIC ESTRELLAS). We believe that reliable access to healthy food and resources is a fundamental building block for successful reentry and community healing. This clinic will consist of opportunities to learn about Worker's Rights and Labor Laws in collaboration with Seeds Of Hope for Produce and Cookbook Distribution along with Mercy Health for COVID, Flu, MPOX Vaccinations, and other useful resources from local partner organizations like 🍉Gender Justice LA.

This event is free to all in our community and will be on a first come first serve basis! Stay updated on where the clinic will be by following us or completing the CWOP Interest Form found in our bio.

Overdose deaths are declining nationally but that progress isn't reaching everyone. Black, Indigenous, and Latino communities are losing more people every year, and when mental health care is out of reach because of stigma, distrust, or a system never built with you in mind, the consequences could be fatal. This Mental Health Awareness Month, we're naming what's in the way. Because our communities deserve more than a system that overlooks them. 🖤

PEAKS participants are offered education, prevention and treatment regarding HIV/AIDS, STIs, and Substance use. We also offer free HIV and hepatitis testing, PrEP referrals, linkage to treatment, and case management.
