Based in Portland, Oregon Christina King offers a trauma-informed and friendly approach to help restore your health and confidence after a difficult experience. Christina represents one of less than 150 board-certified ocularists in the United States, and she takes over the practice from renowned ocularist Fred Harwin, who served patients for several decades. The Center for Ocular Prosthetics's pa

tients have ranged from the tiniest of babies to the elderly. They may be survivors of bungee cord accidents, fireworks, or cancer. Christina takes the time to get to know each patient, and personalizes their eye with a tiny painting of their choice.

Please exercise using that pause button during this video! But yes, we do ask clients to change their prosthetics for multiple reasons, age, weight gain, weight loss, hormonal imbalances/ changes and many other reasons. But going to your ocularist for cleanings can help you find out more about your prosthetics condition as well as your socket!
