In honor of Memorial Day, a time of remembering military personnel who died while serving, an article about trauma treatment is shared. Some of the earliest research and understanding of trauma treatment actually dates back to World War I when many of the veterans coming home were found to be struggling with psychological symptoms.

One of our Silber clinicians, Dr. Sandra Wartski, wrote about the topic of trauma treatment, this topic, utilizing metaphors that might assist in some perspective shift about trauma treatment.
