Fun Fact..... I always say I am never going to host summer events because Y'all be gone. I'm never going to host events during the holidays because Y'all be busy.
But truth is I host events because they are placed on my heart so obedience follows.
Right now we live in a time where AI can make you look 10 years younger and 10 pounds lighter. We live in a time where a pill or shot can help you shred weight like you never would have been able to on your own.
And as amazing as technology is as a health consultant I know you have to keep moving. Movement is Medicine!
So no this event is not one that I want to be doing or would love to do.
I sleep in on Saturdays.
But this is necessary and I have to do the my part.
So yes it's early. Yes it's summer. Yes I too have things to do after. But I'm here for the collective.
So if you feel like you haven't been moving like you should. Set your alarm and come on. Wear your pj's if you want to this is a no judgment room.

Today I took a quick second of a sliver of time. Bex hosted an amazing Ladies Brown Bag Lunch. Tomorrow she has open craft time. Are you ready for story time? My Nissan went out again. Yes my two year old car was in the fritz. This time it was the alternator and serpentine belt.
The dealership quoted me $2400. You heard that right.
So after getting over the what the entire f’s. And no it is not covered by the warranty feelings. I reached out to Car Guy LLC. I stumbled on this place over 12 years ago and loved their philosophy and work. Family owned and honest.
So I called to see if they worked on Nissans they said yes. He asked how much the dealer quoted me. I told him and he said “Ludacris” and not in the good way like the rapper. Long story short the repairs were $1349.
And that’s not the best part. The business is on a family compound now. They have pigs and chickens and plants.
He went on to say that his lease at the mechanic shop was $5400 and his home business with his house is $4000 a month. And people drop off plants that would be thrown away.
So I left with plants a new alternator and was invited back tomorrow for fresh eggs, more plants, and a case of beer 🤣
This is why shopping small matters!

Yesterday was truly special. Thank you to everyone who came out and celebrated 602 Day with us. Whether you stopped by for a drink, shared a conversation, supported our small business, or simply showed love, we appreciate every single one of you. Your support means more than you know, and we’re grateful to be part of such an amazing community.

The fun doesn’t stop there! Throughout June, you can find Tricky Royalty popping up inside Sozo Healing House Tuesday through Friday from 12 PM to 4 PM at 51 W Elliot Rd, Suite 105, Tempe, AZ 85284. We’ll also be kicking off our Saturday morning Hip Hop Fun Fitness series beginning June 6th and joining in the Juneteenth Coffee & Craft Drum Circle celebration on June 20th.
