Same tee. Same commitment. Same belief in showing up for people when it matters most.

At One Good* Day, our Recovery Coaches all bring different lived and learned experiences, different personalities, and different perspectives. But what connects us is bigger than that.

A shared commitment to walking alongside people through the hard days, the hopeful days, and everything in between 💛

Sometimes a plan review is one of the few moments people pause and really reflect on their growth.

Not just the big milestones, but the quieter progress too. Building confidence. Asking for help. Reconnecting with community. Feeling more steady day to day.

In our latest blog, we explore how Psychosocial Recovery Coaching supports people through plan reviews with ongoing conversations, preparation, and support that happens across the whole year.

Recovery Coaching changes lives and the research backs it up.

A few years ago, One Good* Day partnered with the and University to explore the impact of Psychosocial Recovery Coaching for NDIS participants living with mental health challenges.

What participants told us was powerful:
✨ Feeling more supported and understood
✨ Greater confidence navigating the NDIS
✨ Improved social connection
✨ More choice, control and hope for the future

The research also highlighted something we care deeply about at OG*D. Supporting our team properly matters too because supported practitioners provide better support.

At its core, Recovery Coaching is about building trust, walking alongside people and helping create more good* days over time.

Different backgrounds. Different stories. Different life experiences. One seriously good* team. ✨

At One Good* Day, lived experience isn’t just something we talk about. It’s something many of our team carry with them every single day. Alongside professional knowledge, it shapes the way we listen, support, advocate and show up for people.

No two Recovery Coaches are the same and that’s exactly the point.
Our team is made up of people with different strengths, perspectives and journeys because recovery doesn’t look the same for everyone, and neither should support.

The result? Real conversations. Genuine understanding. Support that feels human.

Feeling a bit stuck in the mud lately? We’re here for you.

Recovery has good days and hard days. Sometimes the hard days feel heavier and harder to move through.

But even the muddiest puddles don’t last forever.

Aim for tomorrow to feel just a little lighter than today. Watch your comfort show. Read a few pages of a good book. Spend time with someone who makes you feel safe.

And remember, the sun always rises. ☀️

The words we use in mental health conversations matter.

Phrases like “commit su***de” are still commonly used, but they come from a time when su***de was considered a crime. While laws and understanding have evolved, language has not always kept up.

At One Good* Day, this is something our Recovery Coaches see firsthand. The way we speak can influence how safe someone feels to open up, seek support, and share what they are going through.

In our latest blog, we explore why language matters, what to say instead, and how small changes can reduce stigma and support recovery.

There’s no denying it: recovery can be HARD. It’s important not to push yourself beyond your limits and instead aim for small, consistent steps towards your goals ✅

The key is to keep each step simple and achievable. Try making the bed, going for a walk or taking a shower. One positive change at a time will add up to one good* day, then another, and another.

Our Recovery Coaches are here to support every small step you take on your journey. Visit the link in our bio or contact us below to take the first step.
